As Harry races against time and evil to destroy the Horcruxes, he uncovers the existence of three most powerful objects in the wizarding world: the Deathly Hallows. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is without the doubt the 2nd best Harry Potter but also once again delivers alot of emotion plus the effects look very realistic which was about time and the photography and the way the camera spins in the chase sequence in the woods was just phenomenal plus the ending with Voldemort was rather epic to say the least. Definitely a movie that is indeed slow but nowhere near as slow as the last film. (10/10)

I don't recommend this movie. the only reason anyone would watch this is if they already watched all the previous movies and wanted to see how it all ended. This movie only exists to make money - money that it wouldn't have made if it wasn't attached to this franchise and all that this franchise includes at this point which is..Unexplained magical items which only show up once. FillerBad actingFillerBad CGFillerPlot conveniencesFiller Ex machinas Filler No established rules/logic-Filler Forced relationshipsFillerFanservice that only works if you've read the book.

This movie is without a doubt drawn out and overly exaggerated. I haven't read the books, but I can't believe that JK Rowlings would have written hundreds of pages of boring material with nothing happening. This movie lacks interest and could have been edited down to one hour of screen time for an extended version of both deathly hollows as one movie. I'm not impressed one bit by this 2.5 hour snore.

Directed by David YatesStarring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert GrintOverall: This movie is definitely the weakest of the franchise but I would still recommend it. It works as a setup but not as a movie in and off itself.Good:1. Daniel Radcliffe was superb as Harry Potter and brings new levels of emotion to the renowned character.2. Both Emma Watson and Rupert Grint do great jobs as Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley respectively.3. The story of the main trio hunting down the Seven Horcruxes was a neat idea though could have been better done here.4. Across both Deathly Hallows pt 1 & 2, it contains one of the best individual story lines in the series. Sadly, it was poorly done in this movie.5. I love the editing and the lighting in the movie and it seriously packs a punch in dire moments.6. Excellent music.7. Superb special effects.8. The movie is primarily character driven and starts to unleash a cauldron of emotion bubbling over the course of 6 movies.9. Incredible opening.Bad:1. I think the story was pretty poorly executed.2. Some scenes could have been shortened, or even left out entirely.3. Very, very underwhelming action segments in the movie. It's a character driven movie but that doesn't excuse lazy action.4. Every action scene was very poorly filmed.7/10
