Wolf Children (2013)

I found this film by accident, I love anime and it was on a list of anime to see this film is stunning in its story of children trying to fit in who hasn't had that problem, I won't give away the story but I will say that I cried many times, and I'm a hard but to crack. If you love anime give this a go you'll not be disappointed

At first I have to say this film is worth 8.2. The sweet flow of the anime is really great. Mother's affection, which is the main topic of this sector anime, is presented perfectly by Hosoda(Sir).... This is one of my favorite anime films of all time.I appreciate that it has no such sides which contains mystery, thrill, action, adventure (The things mankind prefer much nowadays) but the significance of Mother's Love can't be shown much greater than this film.Especially I have no intention to spoil the story, but i can't help mentioning the best line from the trailer- "You can think this is a fairy tale but, to a mom it hadn't!" My Review - "You may feel that you are a complete misery to the world but don't think so.... because you will always be a same treasure to your mother even if the world is against you, she will always be at your side." and this is my thoughts that snatches me into the core of the film..really...really great film, just try to give it a run. It is a pure family anime, you can enjoy it with your family members.Thanks for paying your precious time to read this anime. I think you will appreciate my thoughts.

oh my gosh where do i begin, oh hi! didn't see you there! this is my first review! let us see what i am reviewing! *looks at paper and burns it* NOPE NOPE NOPE I'M NOT DOING THIS *gets dragged back into studio* this is wolf children, just so you know there are spoilers so watch out the movie begins with someone talking about a dream or something, it then shows a school, a girl is having trouble with stuff or something (it has been a long time since i watched this) and sees a guy who it is obvious he gonna be a wolf or something and gonna marry her! after her chasing him they get married later and he can become a wolf (if this is like twilight although i haven't seen it get me out of here) they have 2 children then the dad dies (did Disney work on this?) and, wait, he was a wolf when he died and he was getting food, what was he gonna get her? you know what i don't want to know. after some troubles where she lives they move, one of the children wants to be a wolf and another accidentally cut someone's ear, after tons of boring stuff the children grow, they boy being a wolf to take the place of a dead fox, and the other grows up and probably gets married the mom lives on her own blah blah blah happy ending, this was just bad, i would watch Garfield's fun fest over this and that movie is terrible! in the end if you want to watch a movie about animals that is anime watch the cat returns, how do people like this and it got awards and stuff? i don't know to be honest.

(sigh) this movie. oh boy. this movie. I really don't want to go on a giant rant so I'm going to keep this as simple and short as I can.Okay so a woman falls in love with a wolf...man...shafeshifting...thing. yeah I didn't really understand the lore with this one. Okay fine. Whatever. She gets knocked up twice with wolf pup human hybrids and then he goes out in his wolf form to get food and gets hit by a truck and dies. Awesome. Everyone I was watching this with found this really sad. I just thought it was really stupid as I was thinking 'she's a human. The hell are you going to bring her back as a wolf? Like... a dead rabbit? oh that's nice.' He had a human job. How about he just...ordered a pizza or something? Nope gotta go out as a wolf, die and leave a widow with 2 kids. Awesome.So the next hour and a half is just the kids growing up. The girl wanting to be more human and the boy wanting to be more like wolves. That's really about it. It is exactly as boring as it sounds. Everyone acts like it's this big sad story when in actuality the boy is just being a rebellious 'you don't understand mom. I'm a wolf! No one gets me!' and the girl's all 'I have boy troubles!' and the wife is sad and doesn't want to lose her son to....the forest? I am rarely so bored during a movie as I was during this one. This movie had the amazing ability to make almost 2 hours be filled with absolutely nothing. Watching this movie is like somebody making a very pretty castle out of white bread and then after it is done telling you to eat it and then crying when you do. I know that's a strange analogy but....that pretty much sums up this film. It is pretty, sad, white bread. It's not bad...it's not good. It's just....there. I didn't hate it, I didn't love it, I was just straight up bored. 4/10
