Jackass: The Movie (2002)

The original Jackass film coming from the popular MTV television show arrived in theaters in 2002 and made a ton of money, which warranted it two more sequels. This film however was not as great nor entertaining as its sequel. There were very many little individual gags which could have been done without, and several gross out gags which weren't funny in the least. Though, there were still some funny and entertaining stuns, but majority of the film was not funny. Jackass Number Two being better than the original is a sign of growth and shows that they become more creative and energetic within their stunts. Some decent stunts and gags in this film include: golf course airhorn, the gong, nighttime panda skit. The weakest stunts were the gross out gags.

I'm giving it an 8, not because it's a good movie, but because it is one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen in my entire life.Before watching this movie, you've got to ask yourself : Do you enjoy crude, unintelligent, slapstick humor? For example, do you think a man getting run over by a buffalo herd is funny? Does idiots doing crazy **** and getting themselves half killed in the process amuse you? I understand that a lot of people will find this incredibly stupid and unfunny. Those people have no reason to watch this film.Although, the majority will find the sheer craziness of this film hilarious. Yes, I enjoy well thought out, intelligent humor but let's face it, sometimes we all just want to laugh at something completely ridiculous. And that's what Jackass is. Whether you're watching a an midget bar fight or a guy being assaulted by a goat whilst playing a trumpet, this film will keep you laughing throughout the entire 84 minutes.To what I say to you critics : Lay off. This wasn't supposed to a movie with great plot, outstanding acting(No acting is involved, it's all real) with great special effects and suspense. No, this film was supposed to be completely insane and ridiculous. And that it is. And it appeals to the majority of the public who enjoy this humor. In conclusion. This movie lacks plot, effects and is completely insane. And that's what will appeal to majority. Some of you will hate this film but a lot of you will laugh your ass off. Jackass : You've got to love it or hate it!

You want to see people eat their own urine mixed with snow, give themselves paper-cuts between their fingers and toes, fire rockets from body parts which shouldn't have rockets fired from them, shove toy cars where toy cars should not be shoved, attempt to make their mother swear on camera by going to the great length of placing a live alligator in her kitchen and attach muscle stimulators to tender glands. Then watch this movie.The movie crude, rude, hilarious. Every scene in the movie these guys put their lives on the line in order to make us laugh. Now, that is comedy! And when the movie ended, I was upset. It should have been about 120 minutes.

Jackass is one of the coolest and at the same time, grossest thing I've ever seen. I can't even believe that people are capable of taking so much pain. And the actors and stunt-men are still fine nowadays. Yep, they all look cool and pretty much crazy while doing stunts. The creativity and craziness of each stunt is on the top level. I'm a daredevil myself, Jumping staircases on the 3rd floor with the possibility that you may fall to the ground floor, Drinking some Zonrox and rat poisons, Eating raw meat, Every crazy kid that can imagine. I thought I was a bad ass around here, Until I saw this film, I'm like "Are they okay?", "Holy s**t", "yuck!" They're from another world. They're on a whole new level, I'm just a noob.If you enjoy pulling pranks in your elementary days, if you're a little sadistic and can't stop yourself laughing when someone gets hurt a little, if you want to see how much agony a body can take, then this film is perfect for you. This is complete original, a very different experience of your life.For those faint-hearted and those people who enjoys dramas and realistic movies, then after seeing it he/she cries about on how nonsense is it, who's fault really is it? Who in the hell will go to movies, rent some CD entitled "Jackass" if you're that kind of person?
