The main 2 characters seemed like a couple taking a break from city life until they use the word MOM, yes they turn out to be brother and sister on their way home on a back end road. The creature has a driving licence and honks before over taking on the road, really polite. But if you catch the creature dumping bodies in a pipe....now you have had the creature will just bump you of the road and will go away so you can check his lair and realize what is going on.Some people have appreciated this movie as the best horror movie ever good for them, to the others glad to know the IQ level has not fallen for all people.

Stupid B film. Terrible dialogues. Slow reactions. Bad acting. Terrible ending. Stupid script.. How high do you have to be to be able to make This? By far the cheapest horror movie ever. I do not recommend this film for anyone. This was painful to watch. This movie hurts physically and mentally. This should be nominated for worst movie. So glad I watched this pirated at home without paying.

A-Z Horror Movie of the Day..."Jeepers Creepers" (R - 2001 - US/Germany)Sub-Genre: Monster/Slasher My Score: 7.5Cast=5 Acting=7 Plot=6 Ending=9 Story=7 Scare=8 Jump=7 F/X=7 Monster=9 Blood=10A brother and sister driving home through isolated countryside for spring break encounter a flesh-eating creature which is on the last day of its ritualistic eating spree. "You know the part in scary movies when somebody does something really stupid, and everybody hates them for it? This is it." I really liked this...I can't say a lot about the plot but I LOVED the kills!! What it lacks in dialogue is more than made up for in brutality...this was a lot of fun to watch. Before you stick this in your player...and you should...ask yourself, "Is that my scarecrow?"

Jeepers Creepers (2001)*** (out of 4)Brother and sister Darry (Justin Long) and Trish (Gina Philips) are driving cross country when they're ran off the road by an old beaten up truck. Soon afterwards they're in for the fight of their lives as they battle some sort of demon that just can't die.Victor Salva's JEEPERS CREEPERS is one of the better horror films to come out of this era. There were a lot of graphic horror movies full of blood and guts but this film here tried to be something different. It's really hard to explain until you watch it but this movie really stays away from graphic violence and gore and instead goes for a more serious approach. It's clear that the director wanted to scare you with the monster, the atmosphere and for the most part I think he succeeded. What makes the film so good is the fact that you never really know what's going on. The monster is a very effective one and I must say that the fact you know very little about him is what makes the film work so well. When you first see him you're thinking that he's just a serial killer. As the film goes on the killer just becomes more and more strange to the point where you're basically inside some sort of deranged fairy tale where you experience the horror but have no idea what you're dealing with. For the most part both Long and Philips are good in their roles. I will say that I had a few issues with the screenplay including some of the things that happened but for the most part I felt it was at least realistic and managed to hold your attention from start to finish. A lot of credit has to go to Salva for his direction and keeping everything moving at a tight pace.
