One word, Predigenous!!! LOL, seriously this is a great film. Its a well-dated film, with great history and cinematography. I love how the rockets were developed more and more as the movie went along. I like how the boys all collaborated together, a mix of hodge-podge teenagers in the small mining town of Coalwood. The father in this movie is a hardass, but I liked how he was a supportive character in the end, which made the main character even stronger and more passionate about rocketry!Predigenous!!!

Excellent movie, it is very emotional and inspirational. Especially since it's a true story. It clasps onto your heart for the entire time, until you just can't take it. Gives me immense motivation, to thrive for challenges. I've watched it twice and yet the movie doesn't get old! It definitely is a underrated movie!

Good.. Emotional and heartwarming... This is what this movie is.The plot here is straightforward but every part of it is filled with hope, passion and the struggle of a group of young boys trying to break out of a coal mining city using their brains and creativity. But it is the simplicity that makes the movie greatYou simply can't not feel for the "Rocket boys" as they are trying to make their dreams come true despite all the odds being stacked against them...A perfect family movie and I am hoping to discover more of those to share them with everyone.

"Where there is will, there is a way". This movie is a beautiful illustration of this old saying. This movie released one of the best movies on 1999. It beautifully illustrates the biography of a teen Homer(Chris Cooper) who is ambitious towards rocket science and ends up to be a scientist at NASA despite of all the mishappenings he faces in life. The story is a gem for the teens who are often led down by their dreams and dear ones. Full of emotions and zeal the movie buys one a lot of encouragement to follow ones dreams. It proved very helpful to me and I would recommend it all the people who have been facing a very hard time in life and not been able to do what they want to. The plot and the acting of the cast is great and hence this movie easily and beautifully connects to people who got mind-stuck in teenage. Further the acting is so real that it will take oneself back to the teen life of 1950's in America, which itself is a wonderful experience. Please give it a shot, its worth it.
