All About Steve (2009)
After one short blind date, Mary Horowitz, a brilliant and eccentric crossword constructor, is convinced that Steve, a CCN cameraman, is her soul mate. Because his job takes him hither and yon, she crisscrosses the country following Steve, with the encouragement of a reporter, turning up at media events he's at to convince him they are perfect for each other. Along the way, she befriends an assortment of misfits who accept her for who she is, leading her to reassess her reasons for this strange journey.

Not the best, but certainly not the worst romantic comedy I've seen. The movie does get a few good laughs out of you, while also gets some valid points across. Like, for example, makes fun of media over-blowing their news stories just to get better ratings. There are some cringe-worthy scenes which do make you question the sense of their reality, but hey, it's a comedy after all, so things don't need to be taken too seriously. For a light-hearted comedy the movie does a decent job of entertaining you.
I completely disagree with the critics here. There is some pity to have but there is nothing wrong about it. Sandra just nails the character in an hilarious way. Most laughs I had in a while even compared with bigger comedy guns. This film is a little gem. The heroine is fun, likable, beautiful, energic, hilarious, skillful but just a little goofy and virgin. No pity to be had. Plus, it's a film. The only bit I didn't like was the moralising at the end. Hilarious!
beautiful ! one of the most beautiful movie i have ever seen . the highlight of the movie is Sandra bullock , maybe her best performance ! her whole performance is so real and natural , it makes the movie worthwhile . i am really glad i found this movie . very sweet and charming . PS - 1.it is hilarious too ! 2. 4.8 rating , seriously !
Ah people, stop giving bad scores for films that just show how much you DON'T know. This is an excellent film. Full of archetypal journeys and psychological depth. I love it! The acting is superb. Not one miscast actor or actress. The story never gets boring. Tight script. It's funny and heartwarming. The story is transformational. Watch it if you know a smart person who has done dumb things. Watch it if you are stuck because you are too proud to make a fool of yourself. 10 out of 10 film. Thank you for making it!!
