I'm impressed , this sequence can have the same level or nearly exceed the original, I just loved this movie and is one of my favorites, it took 64 years years to the beautiful classic Disney finally have a sequel, waited all my childhood and went caught off guard with this masterpiece, Bambi 2 is a very well designed art , beautiful animations, too enchanting music and the characters return even more charismatic , the main character , Bambi , is even more charismatic , is still cute as always and great fun Bambi grows over the film and it is amazing to see him trying to be like his father, who incidentally, also this incredible in this film, all the characters of the classic movie back here , I loved to see them again , the film is very fun , recommendable for younger people , and like the first, has its strong and sad parts at the end , Bambi 2 me too delighted , and does not deserve the criticism that has weak , it is a great art of a wonderful classic

I believe it has been a good 8 years or so since I last got around to watching this, do not be fooled - this is a movie that should be watched with your heart, I tell people this constantly who nay say and give it poor ratings due to it having less action than the first, this movie had a tremendous impact on me, I started seeing the love in other people thanks to the influence this had on me, words don't do it justice, this is the best movie ever made, and I'm not even sure if I've seen it all or at all, maybe a trailer... No I don't think so, for if I had not seen this masterpiece how could I so confidently say it is superior to the first movie? Exactly.

I enjoyed Bambi II, just as I enjoyed the first one, which was great, but I think this sequel is slightly better, which most people may disagree with, but this is just what I think. I like how they put this movie right in the middle of the first one (hopefully not spoiling anything) and it's a good little kinda "intermission" sequel, and it possibly had the longest wait since the first one, which came out in 1942, this one just 2006. And most people would think the first one is better because it was amazing for it's time. Since I'm not that old I wasn't alive back then, but I still really enjoyed the first one when I saw it out on DVD. But this one still has some characters you just hate, (especially the porcupine) but most of them are enjoyable. It is good for the kids, and if you saw the first one back in the 40's, you'll probably think the sequel is OK. I'd recommend it for fans of the first one anyway. Thanks for reading this review on the 2nd Bambi.

But still a disappointment. Let's look back to the original film for a moment. Overall, not much dialogue. The humor was scarce but touching, the fawns a picture of innocence. Now take a look at Bambi 2. A lot of unnecessary yapping in between cheesy pop songs. Some of cute moments, some jokes reused from the original, and the movie even has its fair share of toilet humor. The fawns are now rambunctious and argumentative, at points even fighting with each other. Now I'm not saying that Bambi 2 has to be a carbon copy of the original, but shouldn't it at least possess a similar tone? There were many things I did like about this movie- the animation was spectacular, and the movie was, overall, pretty sweet. The original movie had a style that's hard to emulate, I'll admit. And hey, toddlers will probably pay attention to this one much longer than the first. However, in history, there are some films that just shouldn't be touched. Cinderella? Aladdin? Okay. But Bambi 2, as entertaining as it was, left me with a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. However, for what it's worth (a cheap, straight to DVD release), I guess I can't complain.
