Cabin Fever (2003)

After seeing other movies like this i basically predicted everything that happened well before it did. not a fan of predictive horrors its you're typical collage kids horror movie acting was good thumbs up story and delivery on the other hand and the script thumbs down 5/10 productive horror not my style thanks

The morons from big city arrive to the cabin near the town full of moronic rednecks, there they get flesh eating bacteria from some of the locals. American ultra dumb teenagers, sex, alcohol, gore, US suburbs, country music - it's all there.I'd describe it as a typical Eli Roth movie. It's pretty dark on the surface and full of gore, but also has completely ridiculous moments which make it a parody of itself. And while the "pancakes" is probably something of a on-set joke which made it to the script, the ending is just...yeah. The vibe of 1000 Maniacs is becoming stronger towards the end and the level of ridiculousness getting higher.

I saw the whole movie, and it just shown how nothing happened. Kid bit a man, but that lead nowhere. Girl got her face eaten, but that lead nowhere. Guy who didn't get infected gets shot. Infected guy infects water. Guy who dropped N-bomb is friends with random black people. The black people, by the way, are pretty much just giant stereotypes. Don't worry, they only appear for five seconds just for a joke. In short, people get flesh eating virus, they die. End of story. Everybody go home.

If I had to choose a Top 10 of worst movies I've ever seen, Eli Roth's Cabin Fever would be a very close tie with the first three Faces Of Death movies as the #1 worst movie I've ever seen. I couldn't stand sitting through this piece of trash for more than 5 minutes without hating every single last character in this film. It starts off with a bunch of unlikable morons in a pointless setup to a very unfunny race joke that doesn't get resolved until the very end, said joke involved a redneck store owner implying that a rifle is meant for "n!ggers", when really the punch line is that this redneck is trying to speak jive without knowing how to phrase such language and the gun belongs to the African American customers and he meant to say "N!gga". That's the caliber of humor in this pile of garbage and it get worse and worse as the minutes go by, and the thing is the concept could have made for a decent horror film but ends up screwing itself over so much that you want to take an angle grinder to your temple to get out of it.
