The Life of David Gale (2003)

I am amazed to see why critics pinned this movie.for me this is one of the best movie ever produced in Hollywood. Performance wise all the actors gave equally faithful performance in their roles.if anyone thinks movie is not good as because critics pinned it then they are absolutely wrong.there are many cases where the movies were best though critics pinned them and the movie became legendary. so please do watch this movie and judge your self.

The Life Of David Gale is a very interesting and entertaining movie to watch. The story-line is a thing manhood will debate over forever. Should we execute some people for the crimes they committed? Is the death penalty humane and is it flawless? My own opinion is no because you can't be sure about every crime committed and so even if there is only 0.1% chance that the jury or/and judge had it wrong it's still 0.1% too much. There are enough innocent people executed by mistake and that makes us not better then any other murderer. About the movie itself the story is very well written and is a delight to watch. The two main actors Kevin Spacey and Kate Winslet are perfect for this movie. I thought Kevin Spacey was outstanding in his role. The rest of the cast is also quality. there is nothing bad to say about The Life Of David Gale. It's an emotional movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat during the entire movie. A must watch!

Committed film on the death penalty.The plot is absolutely believable and keeps you stick to your seat during the whole movie, since it has some "thriller features".The acting is superb, Kevin Spacey, Kate Winslet, Laura Linney...and the supporting actors are also great: Gabriel Mann, Matt Craven, Leon Rippy...The point is in the end of the movie, which i will not reveal.Everyone has to take their own conclusions.Visceral and shocking, this movie will not leave you indifferent.Enjoy it.9/10

I have seen this movie many times over the last 10 years, and seeing it again tonight, being moved to heart wrenching tears at the end, I had to FINALLY make an official IMDb account and make my very first review. I am an IMDb addict, I scour it every time I watch a movie, and I always appreciate every day people's reviews. Most people say they write their first review about a movie they hate, but for me, it is this piece of genius storytelling that made me finally make the effort to register and review. The story is so completely original. The acting is nothing less than superb. Kevin is so classy and honesty so utterly compelling and believable. Laura Linney proves her commitment to the story, above and beyond where others might put their vanity first. But it is Kate Winslets performance that is the absolute clincher. Please make sure you watch this movie to the VERY end and I guarantee your heart will feel like it is ripped out of your chest. Quite easily in my top 5 movies of all time. And perhaps the best drama I have ever seen. Well done everyone involved in this film. Please do yourself a favor and watch this film, or if you have already, watch it again and again. Not often a truly compelling original storyline comes along like this.
