A retiring police officer reminisces about the most astounding day of his career. About a case that was never filed but continues to haunt him in his memories - the case of a man and a Wednesday. A Wednesday is a film that was made in India and it makes perfect sense because except some good cinematography this was a horribly slow pacing drama that went on and on, the acting was horrible and the actors didn't try enough and sorry to say this but it doesn't deserve the rating it got in IMDb because it's just simply bland and an overly long failure. Absolutely masterclass, Nasseruddin Shah sir take a bow. Brave Idea from Nerraj Pandey. Variation of Voice of Nasseruddin Shah in different situation is mind blowing.

Every Single actor in this film is seems to be perfect with their roles and did justice for they have paid for. The most amazing thing is the time duration is less than any masala movie of bollywood, which is only one and half hour with no songs or an item number. even after that viewers will never get distracted and loose interest in the film and every single character is seems to the core players in compilation of the story. The use of variant camera angles as well as so realistic locations with the emotional dialogs create great dealt of impact, attracts more attention and forms a bond between the character of common man and viewer sitting in front of the screen. Many of the things or facts shown in the movie being kept hidden like what was the occupation of the common man this is the question mark. Because he hacked the complete telecommunication security system and even hacker of an intelligence couldn't track him and somehow he succeeded. so that thing actually couldn't be the piece of cake for a common man. one more thing what I have noticed is in the sequence when the police officer briefing to the team in the office about the militants and their background activity on projector the last man he has shown with anonymous profile was Naseeruddin shah. The picture he projected was of the common man. so was there any connection between the militants and common man? that is unclear. Over all it is really hard to find any flaws in this type of storytelling in such compact cinematography and reality based film. I recommend every one to watch it once.

Oh, this was a hell of a bad movie. I let myself be misguided by the good ratings. The music was probably the only positive in this movie. The special effects were horrible. The bomb blowing up at the airport scene? Oh my.. something like this could only be created in India. There was some guy who got scared by a man threatening him on the phone, but it seems it was an "out of the story" scene. We have some bully-policeman, who beats everyone up. Well.. I'm not surprised why India is still in the place it is if the locals approve that. There's only one step from being fond of a character like that to using the same methods in one's real life. And then we have husbands treating wives like this, parents treating children like this etc. And these children later grow becoming terrorists. The bully gets shot by the other policeman and no one cares that it's a bullet from a police gun. Well.. I suppose the viewer should assume that all the police is corrupt and will cover that. An the end the movie is not credible for also one simple reason. No government fulfills terrorists's demands. If they would, anyone could simply demand something and expect it to be realized. So.. NO. It's just another unjustly high rated pseudo-moral movie from India.
