It's July 4th in a Colorado small town. Amber Williams (Brooke Nevin), boyfriend Colby Patterson (David Paetkau), Zoe (Torrey DeVitto), Roger, and PJ are friends playing a prank on the local carnival. Roger dresses as the feared Fisherman to spread the legend but PJ dies in an accident. The remaining friends decide to keep the prank a secret. One year later, aspiring photographer Amber returns to town. She receives the feared text message and the mythical Fisherman descend on the group.I thought the Fisherman needed to be near the ocean. Certainly, it would help the motif to be near water. I don't know why the franchise moves to Colorado. The Fisherman becomes a mythical killing machine like Michael Myers or Jason. Jennifer Love Hewitt is nowhere to be found in this straight to DVD sequel. At least, there are some good physical kills. Nevin maintains interest as the lead. The characters don't have enough time to develop chemistry or rooting interest. The franchise is scraping the bottom of the barrel at this point.

This flick, another entry into the I Know franchise destroyed it all and it was over even with it's open ending with the franchise. There's nothing going on, just a prank going wrong and the legend about a fisher with a hook. And just wait until the legend appears and shows his face. Made almost 10 years after the second one it failed completely and is never released on Blu Ray, do I need to say more? The editing is also an issue with flashy and shaky camera's when the killings do take place. The story itself is weak and boring. Why this one ever was made is a big question. Only to see if you want to see the trilogy.Gore 0/5 Nudity 0/5 Effects 0,5/5 Story 1/5 Comedy 0/5

Where do I start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything is wrong with this movie. The story is dumb, the acting is horrible, the characters are stupid, it is very boring, and it gets you no where. I really have no idea why the people who made the first two didn't make the third one themselves instead of selling the franchise rights to some direct to DVD film company. The movie feels so lazy and underwritten but it would have been great if all the surviving characters from the last movie returned and if it was made by the same people. What a shameful movie. My biggest question to the filmmakers of this movie is, how could you?

This movie was made without Lois Duncan's knowledge, which was pretty easy to do, I suppose, since it used NONE of her characters (they were killed off in the previous movies.) The only thing this movie has in common with the other two is the mention of the fisherman, who was NOT in Duncan's novel. If you want an engaging, suspenseful story, I suggest you read the book- you can find it here:http://www.amazon.com/Know-What-You-Last- Summer/dp/031609899X/ref=sr_1_1? s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1318887990&sr=1-1For more on Lois, read her book, WHO KILLED MY DAUGHTER, found here: http://www.amazon.com/Who-Killed-Daughter-Lois- Duncan/dp/0440213428/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1318888089&sr=1-1And check out her website! loisduncan.arquettes.com
