Not going to write a very descriptive review, but I surely can say Samuel never fails. His acting is as if he channels his characters which I am sure he does. So that explains why his roles are so interesting and hilarious at times because his roles are so crazy yet never lacks intrigue.

Meeting Evil is a past time crime thriller starring Luke Wilson and Samuel L. Jackson. Throughout the film, Jackson (Ritchie) has fun chewing the scenery as a deranged killer in this otherwise formulaic thriller that provides some campy amusement before running out of gas. John (Luke Wilson) is an unlucky suburban realtor whose life spins out of control after an innocent encounter with a mysterious stranger (Jackson) who wears a fedora. John soon finds himself held hostage during a terroristic spree that later threatens his wife (Leslie Bibb) and children. The film is a decent watch, it won't be too high but it is well entertaining at some areas and the characters provide some great profanity. Though, the film can be somewhat uncertain at points and have several filler moments. The highlight is Samuel L. Jackson's character as he steals the film right from his opening scene. Although somewhat predictable, Meeting Evil is mainly just a onetime watch.

The stage was set up nicely for Samuel L. Jackson and Luke Wilson in this thriller, but sad to say that the movie ended up being a bit too much. Now, the storyline was okay, but it just ended up being a bit over-the-top with the superiority of the Richie character. The story is about John, a Realtor down on his luck, who happens to meet Richie by random luck, and ends up dragged along on a murder-fueled ride by the mystery man who seems to know all about his life. While both stars of the movie were doing good jobs with their roles, the movie just ended up being somewhat of a confusing movie. While it is entertaining for what it was, it was just a bit too random. What works about the movie is that the energy and chemistry of the two main characters, thanks to Jackson and Wilson. And also that you don't really know what is up with the Richie character. And even once everything is revealed at the end, you are still somewhat left in the dark.A movie that had potential, just a shame that the overall result was something shambled out of a movie dryer. A bit too hectic and confusing for my liking. As such, I am rating it a mediocre five out of ten stars only.

....and confused as to what people expect from a film when they leave reviews on here. If you wish to watch a film that is easy to understand, has a beginning, middle and happy ending where all is explained so there is no doubt in your mind as to what you have watched then I think you will find most Disney films provide this. If you, however, enjoy a disturbing, complicated and different story that may leave you pondering the outcome then maybe give this a watch but do not complain if it was too complicated for your comprehension or you need a running commentary to explain what is happening or you cannot grasp the subtleties of the tale.Well acted on the whole, fast paced and I enjoyed it. Not the best film ever by a long chalk but also not the worse. Having suffered Iron Man 3 (being a huge fan of the current super hero genre) and being bored to tears on Christmas Day for two and a half hours I can honestly say I would rather have seen this.
