Paranormal Activity: Tokyo Night (2010)

As someone who has seen all of the Paranormal Activity movies, I decided that I wanted to give this one a try.First off I noticed that this title is very similar to the first Paranormal Activity movie (which they were probably aiming at). Just like the first Paranormal Activity, it slowly builds up as time passes. (Which I really like and think is important when you want to make a film scary.)I don't get scared too often from films, so whenever I find a new 'found footage' kind of film, it gets me excited, as I want to recreate the feeling I got when I first experienced Paranormal Activity. This film does a fairly decent job at trying to achieve that. It did genuinely scare me at times, however because you know what to expect when watching this movie, the 'scary parts' are not that scary, simply because you were anticipating them.I do prefer this film over the newer entries in the Paranormal Activity franchise, as it's contained. But compared to the first Paranormal Activity it lacks surprise and because of that, it won't have the same effect as the original. (if this film came out before the first Paranormal Activity, the roles would have been reversed)If you're a fan of the original Paranormal Activity, definitely give this one a shot. I was happily surprised that this movie managed to scare me, though I'm not expecting to have trouble sleeping tonight, unlike when I watched the first Paranormal Activity for the very first time.

Being so much hyped i had watched in my college time the original Paranormal activity and let me be very frank found it too over hyped. I was disappointed. Is this better? that would be saying the obvious and the effort shows especially in the writing.The acting is good and i found it to be one of the few satisfying horror flicks...The jumps may not be much but the chill is eerie...I will say this that i did like the film...not a great film may be but definitely a one time treat for the horror fans and even for its found footage style it rarely bores you Now how many flicks can say that? Go for it if you ask me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie Japanese spin off or there own sequel to the original American Paranormal Activity.Her brother is filming (One of the others reviews already said it start, so I not going repeat that) his sister Home coming, she as just back from US but involved in Car crash, that broke her legs and as to be in wheel chair, Brother has to care of her until she get back on her feet. This movie did have the some of same idea like US one but they use it different way as it they put bit of salt on floor but it get blown away, it just like powder scene in US version which is was much better scene.Also liked the fact that girl was pulled by her hair in this movie and dragged from the bed. (Hair replaced the ankle) They soon found that girl who died in crash in US, pass evil thing to her after the crash.It may seem a bit like of re-harsh of the first movie for most of time, the ending was really good, Some really good entertaining moments near the end and some really good scare that creepy you out (scary stuff that happens out of the house) I enjoyed this movie a lot more then US sequel.Really good movie

The Yamano family lives in a secluded home in a remote Tokyo residential area. Their 27-year-old daughter Haruka suffered a compound fracture in a car accident while traveling in America. Haruka returns home in a wheelchair. There to meet her is her younger brother 19-year-old Koichi. Their father is away from the Yamano resident due to a business trip abroad. Koichi is left to take of his sister for until she can walk again.I've been heard a lot about this movie, of course because of the first two sequels. I gotta be honest i didn't like first Paranormal Activity, it was just money making machine it was created with 15,000$ and bring over $107,917,283 so i guess the team that making movie did really great job (about the money part) So i finally watch this film, and i gotta say it was like first 2 sequels.
