I chose to watch this movie because of the title, because I didn't know what to expect but it was a pleasant surprise. Although at first I thought that I will see what happens with the two young teens who are going to get married I saw another story in which you retain. Ryan Reynolds's performance is very good, a gifted actor that I've seen in many movies, he is able to play in comedies but equally well unravel and dramas. A movie that I've seen and I liked was Buried. Returning to film, I liked how it was in the habit of recording on the tickets, I remembered Memento. In conclusion, a great movie, a family drama in which the situations there can happen in real life, conjures up many questions about what happens in our lives, and always the truth hurts. To be seen!

At this first lecture, an attendee attempts to seduce Frank, whose wife, Susan, calls at an inopportune moment to hear another woman in the background. Frank escapes the room, remaining mostly faithful to his wife, but ends up in a car accident with a pregnant woman, whom he escorts to a hospital. His name ends up on the kid's birth certificate by mistake, which ends with Frank fighting against hard evidence that he's leading a double life. The tide turns, however, when DNA testing reveals that not only is he not the father of the baby in question, he's not the father of his own child either. He's sterile. Now Susan's past becomes an issue.I don't wanna mention about its topic exactly that it is surprising for audiences. It is fixed great topic into great screenplay. It is a good film-making to be watched to family gathering.Ryan Reynolds and Emily Mortimer perfectly put on an act.Frank's method at the film is created a life-style for some peoples living their lives to the fullest. It sometimes has emotional scene, sometimes has funny scenes. The movie also expresses the importance of the feeling of being forgiven successfully.I give eight out of ten to movie. If you have a good time and says that life is extenuated, you will watch it.

Frank Allen (Ryan Reynolds) who makes new lists every day lives his life with a planned program. One Christmas, he goes out with his friends, Susan (Emily Mortimer), Buddy (Stuart Townsend). That day, Susan tells her friends she wants to marry and will choose the bridge groom among her friends. At any rate, everybody is admired her. However, she considers Frank who wants her since they met with each other. Finally, they got married and had a daughter whose name is Jesse. By the way, with putting the clock back, Frank's life becomes too much complicated. He misses the ferry. While he is driving is car, he crashes a pregnant woman's car. And he has to carry her to the hospital. Susan who misunderstands this situation, argues with Frank. Therefore, he takes DNA test in order to prove that the pregnant woman's baby is not him. Yet, he learns that he is infertile. Any more, he has a deepening crisis and doesn't know what he will do. Will he forgive or leave Susan? Firstly, I must say that after 'just friends', Ryan's movie which I laugh so much is 'chaos theory'. In my opinion, the scenario is really different from the daily life events. It is very funny besides this, it successfully includes emotional and full of love scenes emphasizing the power of love despite lie, deceiving or betraying. But, there is the only part which I don't like is the final scene about "happily ever after ". I think, being obsessed with happy end causes absolutely simplicity although the topic is fascinating. Maybe, the final part can be more surprising. As well, if I were Frank, I couldn't forgive Susan. Of course everybody says lots of white lie. It is almost inevitable. But deceiving somebody about an important topic is unacceptable. Anyway, chaos theory is really successful romantic comedy. My vote is 8!

The story itself isn't too emotional at all. Afterall guys don't mind fathering somebody else's child. But the script and screenplay is fantastic in that we can actually feel what the characters feel. Taking something so every day and making you think about chaos is surely extraordinary. The characterization is too perfect but still without all the drag that always goes together. Ryan Reynolds, Emily Mortimer and Stuart Townsend are great in their roles especially Ryan. He didn't overreact even a bit and i would say that this is definitely one of the best roles that he did. Stuart is his charming self and Emily, seamless. Also it is not a tragedy. It is so beautifully balanced on the edge that you don't end up weeping at the sad scenes or laughing at the many whimsical jokes. Instead you end up thinking a lot about it after, with a weight in your heart.I'll surely remember this for a long time. As far as the ratings go, a drama doesn't get any better than this.
