Jim, an average New Yorker, lives with a sick but loving wife. Suddenly, everything changes when the economy crashes and causes him to lose everything. Filled with anger and rage, Jim goes to seek revenge for the life taken from him. Bailout: The Age of Greed or also known as Assault on Wall Street suffers from way too slow pacing but also Uwe Boll being a really awful director. The actors do try their best but not their best enough and the film also tries to get political at times which makes things even worse unfortunately cause it could be really good. (5/10)

This was a good film because of Dominic Purcell's character and acting. Anti-hero hero. Here's a guy who should play Jack Reacher in coming movies!!! He is so ruthless and raw but still you feel that he's got the right. He feels so simple and almost a bit ...behind... but still he rules. The action is pure and straight forward and the film is just perfectly balanced between depth and raw entertainment. It really takes up a relevant subject that have influenced a lot of people and will keep on doing. I mean who doesn't like a pay back, revenge, take it in your own hands story? And the end is perfect. But still .. what I want to highlight most is Dominic Purcell. It' s very strange how Tom Cruise can be casted as Jack Reacher when Dominic IS this guy. Makes you wonder if they just buy their roles, the rich guys. Dominic rules!

In 2009, Uwe Boll gave us Rampage, a rage-fuelled exercise in violence that I viewed as a form of catharsis for the director. I guess Boll had a lot more anger in him than I originally thought, because Assault on Wall Street sees the film-maker once again venting his spleen via his art, the target this time being the greedy bankers of Wall Street and capitalism in general.Dominic Purcell plays hard-working security guard Jim Baxford, who must be one of the unluckiest characters in the history of film: his wife is receiving expensive treatment for a brain tumour, his insurance policy refuses to cover the cost, his savings turn out to be worthless thanks to some irresponsible trading by his brokers, he loses his job, his wife—consumed by guilt—commits suicide, and then he's evicted from his home. With nothing else to lose but his own miserable life, he decides to make the greedy bankers on Wall Street pay for their mistake—in blood! There's no denying that Boll lays it on with a trowel—there's zero subtlety in his script—but in the end, Assault On Wall Street is a satisfyingly bloody slice of violent revenge cinema, one that also carries an important message at its heart: there is a shocking disparity between the haves and the have nots, and it is only getting worse. If the situation doesn't change, bloodshed is inevitable.7.5 out of 10, rounded up to 8 for IMDb.

This movie was not entertainment, or brilliant, it was depressing. America is the crux of free market capitalism on this planet. I use the word crux instead of heart, because the free market system has no heart, its dog eat dog. People knowingly gamble their lives on the toss of a dice known as "the market".The same people even vote for the system, and when they lose they don't like it.I hated this film for that reason. If we deal with fire we have to expect to get burned.Yet we don't, we expect to win and win again. The main character in this movie loses everything, including his wife, she commits suicide because she doesn't want to be a burden to her husband, he then goes on a rampage killing those involved in his bank, with a machine gun....Her husband invested their life savings in stocks and shares and lost. The free market runs America, mature people cant expect to win all the time.
