This film puts all of todays modern CGI to shame, Man of Steel eat your heart out! The detail makes you feel as though the play dough looking dinosaurs are really in your room. But its not just the visual aspects of this film which make it so great it has a flowing plot line which would embarrass most comedy sketch shows, one of the most complex and meaningful stories I've come across. It doesn't end there though what really makes this film is the early 20th century robots they employed to act in this film (however they were slightly let down by their 20:20 vision when trying to read off the autocue behind the camera, even I admit there were some momentary glitches!!)This is must for all those film fans who appreciate films such as apocalypse now, the godfather trilogy or shawshanks IT IS ON PAR WITH THOSE!!!

Terribly flawed plot line accompanied by horrendous CGI. I've seen better special effects in movies from the 80's. I recorded this movie for my 7 year old son because he loves dinosaurs and even he noticed loads of mistakes! We actually watched it right through to the end, we wanted to see how bad the ending was going to be!! True to form, the ending was as unbelievable as the rest of the movie. Because this movie was on TV I didn't see the DVD cover & man am I glad, I would have been a hell of a lot more disappointed than I already am, the cover is very very misleading. I wish I had read all the reviews on this site before attempting to waste my time on this awful awful movie!!!!

But in all honesty, is it really saying that much? I watched this out of curiosity as I make it a habit of watching these Syfy movies(most of which are really bad) when there is nothing else on. I have seen worse movies than 100 Million BC and there have been worse from SyFy, however this aside that doesn't stop it from being terrible. The production values are cheap and shot so darkly sometimes you can hardly make out what was going on and the effects look phony and the sound is both murky and lacking in authenticity. The music is canned, which can mean tacky and annoying, the case here, the story is badly paced often being dull and there are no thrills, suspense or tense build ups to savour and the dialogue is toe-curlingly bad. The acting not helped by some stock and clichéd characters is awful, Michael Gross tries but Chris Atkins is wooden and painful to watch. All in all, I've seen worse, but this was not a good movie at all. 2/10 Bethany Cox

This is why our economy is in the toilet; because people like Griff Hurst, weird first name by the way (the director of this movie in case you didn't know) are making these stupid, pointless, terrible, bad acting movies that are created by these people who you would expect from people with brain tumors. So basically in mid 20th century or something a group of scientists were experimenting with invisibility, but what happened is the machine sent them back in time. Now, you'd expect the people building this thing to be smart know what they're doing. OK, invisiblity has nothing to do with time travel. How the hell do you build something to make you invisible end up sending you back in time. "Oh there's the problem, the red wire isn't connected to the blue wire. Of course, we forgot to connect them and the invisibility machine turned into a time machine. We should of double checked." OK so anyway, 50 years later they decide to actually go back in time. And again they go to 100 million BC the time where dinosaurs aren't little plastic toys. No they will eat you.So they come back to current time whenever that is, and somehow there was a T-rex right next to them when they came back and now there's a T-rex in the 21st century. At that point I stopped watching the movie because well the movie was so bad that my brain will explode in a pink mist. But my guess on how it will end is either the old fashion America style way by having tank or an air force plane and blowing the dinosaur up or the corny way in which the scientists argue that they need to send it back in time to restore natural order. Now what would make this movie a little better is if all the dinosaurs were brought back and it was a fight for survival and the US army had to take down like 1000 dinosaurs. That would make the film more actiony. But with only one dinosaur it's like killing a person with a gun, just with a much bigger gun which is very easy to get.I have to say that this movie would look better in a donkey's ass than in my DVD player. So please, for the love of god do not see this movie. But for whatever reason you do, please shoot it after or better yet while you're watching it. I can't stress this enough.
