Women aren't going to save the world, despite what this documentary suggests. In fact, no one group of people likely will save it, if anything like "salvation" is even possible. This documentary makes some decent points, such as its critiques of old systems of thought which have held women as essentially property. However, it's not intellectually satisfying (or honest) to just call such a thing "Patriarchy." In fact, some very specific historical events have much to do with oppression of women, such as religion: Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc. This movie makes practically no criticism of religion, and in fact seems to try to ignore te issue entirely. It instead makes all men out to be oppressors unless women guide them (spoiler alert!). The movie also naively argues that female politicians are good, more caring, etc. Nonsense! Have any of these ladies ever hear of Margaret Thatcher? Also, apparently they've never heard of lousy, terrible, abusive mothers, or women who support war (there's a fair amount of those, actually). In fact, there are even female serial killers (truly, there are more female murderers than you'd ever guess from watching something like this). More simply, this is not really a feminist movie. Feminism is about looking past gender roles and stereotypes. This movie exaggerates existing ones, and attempts to create some new ones while it's at it.

What an inspiring movie! Through interviews with several noteworthy women the film profiles ways in which women are not only changing, but healing the world. The film explains how the sacred feminine has been marginalized through the rise of the masculine. This has lead to many problems both economic and social as well. However, the film does not come off as depressing at all! Women are rising and using their sacred feminine to heal the world and restore some balance. The film paints a hopeful future for the planet. It is just up to us women to steer the planet back to prosperity and peace!

An inspiring film about the empowerment of females and the feminine nature. Shedding a light on how women naturally will commune together and teach the world about peace and love. Sharon Stone and other worldly experts share their views on how women can help nurture the world towards a brighter future. Definitely filled with empowerment and hope after watching this film. Definitely a good message to see that women and men are coming towards a more equal field. Made me reflect on how the world is unbalanced in favor of men and furthered me notion on how gender relations should be equal. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to be educated on making the world a better place for future generations.

I saw this film, but it was more than going to watch a movie it was more like experiencing an event. This film is about celebrating women around the world. It mentions how women are often more communal and nurturing than men. It gives a message to women, it is up to us to lead the world into peace and prosperity. When this movie was over I felt inspired and hopeful. I felt empowered. If you are feeling low and need to feel good, definitely watch this movie. It gives you hope for the future. If you have children it makes you feel good knowing that our children will live in a better world. I recommend this film for both women and men and young people too.
