This film had potential, the grievances from Rupert Turner are more than understandable and it points out some plausible problems with the ever growing social media. But it was a awful film. The acting made me want to punch myself in the face and eventually the direction of the film coincidentally plummeted to the earth. When reading the description i was intrigued, and sat down hoping for a little surprise; like something along the lines of "Tower Block" which was also a British low budget film. Well i did end up being surprised...at how bad this film was. I understand it's hard to make an impact with such a low budget, but to settle for such unconvincing actors isn't mandatory. If they cast 4 better actors this could have been a fairly good film, but they didn't. They are annoying, extremely annoying. And it's not the characters that frustrated me, but the actors themselves and their inability to truly make me believe they where in such a situation. As i said it could've been a good film, but unless you're a movie fanatic like myself then i wouldn't bother wasting my time.

It was a dark, dark night and I thought of watching a horror movie, and the British cult hit "Panic Button" crossed paths with me. Although slow and drawn out entirely in the beginning, the move progresses as it gets longer, and gets increasingly intense. It centers around be plot of a girl named Jo and four other people she does not know who all entered into a contest on a social site similar to Facebook called algettogether.com. The four unknowingly win and are excited for the contests winning outcome to a paid trip on a private jet to New York City. Once they arrive on the plane and situated it is a classy plane and all seems fine, until the four contestants become subject to a contest aboard the plane and are asked personal questions and soon it escalates to watching innocent people die and more lives are lost. It is a horror thriller and it is true, read the terms and conditions.

There was some potential in this, people having different persona on social media, getting involved in things they wouldn't in real life but how social media is real life. But unfortunately it was basically a low-budget "mee too" movie following the same formula as many other films that throw a bunch of disconnected people together, not knowing why and then killing them off in various kinds of horrors. There was little merit in the acting, the cinematography, the plot, the script, the technology, the twists and turns, the music, etc.The only thing it had going for it was vaguely interesting but unfulfilled potential.

the beginning of the movie is extremely thought-provoking and plays on contemporary concerns about internet privacy, but then it all turns a bit silly and random with all the killing..i could almost tolerate the silly random killing if it wasn't for the TERRIBLE cringe-worthy acting from everyone starting with the plane voice-over/tannoy, and the unrealistic (typical of most Brit horror) script trying to portray shock and fear. i think it would have been way more sinister if the plane voice-over was robotic instead of the judging tone similar to the narrator of 'come dine with me'.i was very disappointed that after the tense 'round 1', instead of getting more cruel and intrusive, the writers ran out of ideas and brought out the killing.
