In this installment the 'victims' are trapped in an apartment building and being terrorized by the Critters. More comedy than the previous films and not as exciting, but still entertaining enough. It does get a bit silly at times. It was interesting to see Leonardo DiCaprio in his first film.

My thoughts about Critters 3: I think that the director Kristine chose the wrong actress, Aimee Brooks in this film, which makes the film look very boring. She the director should have taken another actress. Kristine is a bad director too. Besides it's a disappointment that the character Ug didn't appear in the film at all. There is only a bounty hunter Charlie in this film compared to these previously series. I wish that Critters 3 never had been made. I can't believe that the film was filled with a bunch of bad actors/actresses. The bad language in this film, they are just talking crap all the time.In my opinion this film is a full waste of time, even in the fourth series. The story of this film is an embarrassment. In some words; the Crites didn't kill a lot, they killed just two persons. Just a little. When the Crites attacked the apartment building of LA, it is not exciting at all. The Crites didn't seem to be lucky, they just failed and failed. There is no much violent or gory. I wouldn't want to see these ridiculous scenes again. In my opinion; Critters 3 is the crappiest movie that has ever been made. The first Critters series is still my best, the sequel is OK, I disliked these parts of 3-4. I give Critters 3 a rating of one out of ten.

Critters three was a straight to VHS release filmed back to back with critters four, and stars Leonardo Decaprio in his film debut. In this film we find that some of the critters survived after their second attack on earth. They lay eggs in a camper, which goes to Los Angeles. The eggs hatch, and the new born critters take refuge in an apartment building. The critters grow rapidly, and attack the people living in the apartment. The family who drove the camper, an elderly couple, a maintenance women, a single lady, and Leonardo Dicaprio, who traveled to the apartment with his dad (the landlord) to evict the residents, hole up in a room, and the critters try to get to them. When the critters first attacked, the maintenance women shoved a flare in ones stomach, which fell down the laundry shoot, and set fire to the building. So after the critters break into the room, the group of people try to escape to the roof. Charlie returns as a bounty hunter to help destroy the critters. At the end of the film, Charlie finds two eggs, which he intends to destroy, but gets a holographic transmit from Ug, the remaining bounty hunter from the first two, who tells Charlie that since those were the last two eggs in existence, he couldn't destroy them, and must place them in a pod that would be launched into orbit. This film isn't nearly as good as the first two, but still has some pretty good critters action, and is worth checking out if you're a fan of the franchise.

Don Opper, Aimee Brooks, John Calvin and Leonardo DiCaprio star in this 1991 sci-fi/horror sequel. This begins with teenage girl, Annie (Brooks), her father, Cliff (Calvin) and little brother, Johnny (Christian & Joseph Cousins) heading back from vacation to their L.A. apartment building. Along the way, Annie and Johnny meet bounty hunter, Charlie McFadden (Opper) who tells them about the town of Grover's Bend and it's previous encounters with the Critters. After coming home, they and their neighbors become terrorized by a new batch of hungry aliens. Soon, Charlie comes to their rescue and helps them fight against them. DiCaprio (Titanic) is younger in this and plays Josh, the stepson of their ruthless landlord. This sequel isn't bad, but unnecessary because the last film ended well. I still recommend it if you're a fan of the Critters.
