Unfortunately, this movie was not really a success. Due to the incoherent and confusing storyline, undeveloped characters, and somewhat immature/poor acting from some of the cast members. This movie could have been better with some more professional performance skills and a more developed story. I also felt that this film could have been enhanced with a better soundtrack and background music. Josh Sukow was by far the most talented actor in this film. Additionally, the hair/makeup/wardrobe team was really not pulling through in this production. One thing that I thought was good about this movie was the cinematography and filming skills.

I loved this movie. I realize that it may not have the same tools as the more famous Hollywood movies, but it did the best with what it had. I think that the plot is like no other out there. If I were personally directing the movie, I would not have changed a thing. I specifically loved Josh Sukow. He really showed a great understanding for the script. He followed the plot like no actor I've ever seen before in a way that makes me want to see more and more of him. Not to mention he is clearly the cutest one on screen. Mad props to whoever picked the actors, because Josh Sukow is a keeper for life. I am excited to see what he possibly has in store for himself as an actor. If he is not already, he needs to be on his way to Hollywood. He deserves the big times more than anyone, and this performance truly showed that.

I appreciate the attempt of the movie and the dedication of the actors, producers, and directors, and I love the setting of the movie! I also love the idea of the movie and how a typical high school boy is able to rise above his classmates and use his powers for good. However, it's clear that the actors were inexperienced. Many parts of the movie were very cheesy. It also would have been better if they could have used better, more elaborate props, and if they could have edited the movie better, especially with the time-warping machine. However, it's not a very exciting movie. And I feel that Max's best friend was treated unfairly. But, I would recommend it if you want to see Mr. Sukow in the bloom of his youth.

Missy and the Maxinator was like most superhero movies, guy loves girl who is with a jock, the superhero lost his parents in an accident, and the superhero has trouble controlling his own powers. It lacks in originality and it severely lacks in acting skills. The timing is horrific and the film may as well be labeled a comedy for the awful visual effects. The one shining light in the film is the Oscar worthy performance of Josh Sukow. He took his role very seriously and made an unforgettable performance. Overall the movie is one not worth watching unless you are in for a laugh, the only parts of the the movie worth watching are the ones with the incredible acting talent Josh Sukow.
