I love this movie. The scenes, actors, actresses, the plot- Everything! What I really like in the movie is: When her father falls and she finds out and then she rescue's him. And I like when she goes under the wire and the girl says "I pretend-". I also like when you see them do the you could say "Gun/Weapon Dancing". Plus when you see her packing at the end and when you see her room at Military School. I just love the plot as I said, the story and how good they act especially "Hilary Duff" staring Cadet Kelly. I love it! The BEST BEST BEST movie!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! Even the small things are great!!! I also like when she got stuck on the roof. It was a LITTLE funny. I also love the costumes. The costumes were great!!! It shows a lot. The short way of telling the story is: Her mother gets a boy friend and they/her father send her to Military school. She has to leave her best friend. She hates it at first. And there is this Mean girl. Then she makes a friend. Fashion Style is not there. Finally she gets the picture of no fashion. The mean girl turn out to be a friend in a special friend. Her father comes and she rescue's him. That's it. But it would be hard to tell the whole story. That movie is great!!!

In the final months of the Disney Channel we forefathers once loved, this DCOM was the very last good thing to come from the station before it got the "Dumb Nick" treatment that was suffered by many a few years back. This movie was from early 2002 and it is called "Cadet Kelly," which starred two long lost, old Disney Channel stars: Hilary Duff of "Lizzie McGuire," and Christy Carlson Romano of "Even Stevens," two wonderful DCOSs (Disney Channel Original Shows). So, Kelly attended an art school in New York, and since her mother was about to get a new husband who was interested in working at a military school, Kelly ended up having to leave the city and attend it!!!!! It was very hard for her, especially when her Captain (or whatever it's called) was very mean and kept on calling her a "maggot!!!!!" Kelly got into trouble for painting the Captain's hair and as punishment, she had to take part in an activity, twirling guns and stuff!!!!! She had learned to love it and her school ended up winning 2nd.What's funny about this is that Kelly went to military school only because it's her new father's job, not because she got in trouble. Anyways, this is a great movie, and it sure was nice to enjoy Disney Channel while it lasted!!!!!Thanks for five years (1997-2002) of greatness, Disney!!!!!10/10

Hilary Duff is delightfully funny and inspiring in this comedy. Acting was great and storyline amusing. This film would not have been the same without Hilary Duff starring in it. She made this movie what it was, a must see for families. It is encouraging, telling you to be and individual but in the right ways and at the same time very funny. The setting was great, costumes were well thought out and it was filled with every character growing in one way or another. This movie is easy to sit down and watch over and over again, getting something new out of every time you view it. If you don't like Hilary Duff you won't like this movie but i strongly advice watching it.

Kelly Collins is a typical teenage girl. But when she has to go to a military camp... things change. This movie includes great laughs and is a heart warming family movie. Hilary Duff and Christy Carlson Romano bring so much energy and talent onto the screen. This charming film which premiered in 2002 was announced the highest rated Disney Show of all time. (Unfortunatly in 2003, You Wish stole the title - But for us Hilary fans, Cadet Kelly will always be the number 1 movie of Disney) The film is based around the age group of 6-15. It is good for both genders and doesn't include any bad language or gestures. I loved watching this film because it is so awesome and has a great plot. Overall, 7/10
