I thought that the movie was OK. The fact that they actually skipped that part were Marie went to halloweentown for a year to train was stupid. Also where did that castle come from. In the first 3 Halloweentown was not that big. Also if the ultimate power was so evil that it could control anyone and they would have no control over there own body hwy wouldn't they destroy it. It took about 300 years for 3 Cromwell's to be born all at the same time who knows haw long it will take for another 3 to be born. Also hiding the gift in a book on a shelf is the worst sport to hide it since everyone knows that it is one of the first places to look when trying to destroy a room. HELLO!!! If they could find the box that has been hidden under ground for 300 years how long do you think it will take for them to find that one. But on the other hand the movie was very well played out. The fact that they are doing research about there history with out magic is very close to normal because you cant use magic to find everything exspecally when you don't have them.

This movie was just horrible, and I hope that they make another one to redeem themselves.Hopefully this time they will have the right Marnie, because if they don't it will probably be worse than return to halloweentown! Not only is the acting just horrible, the characters are horrible as well! I mean they don't have Sophie, or their grandma. Another thing is that the whole plot doesn't make any sense. Than they didn't even know who the Cromwells were. The sad thing is that I cant even remember half of the movie. The only thing I remember is her going to the college. Other than that I cant remember anything that had happened in the movie. I cant remember who the bad person was and what they wanted!

Return to Halloweentown was a lot better than the other three because in the first one yes she did use magic without even thinking about it but in this one she is at Witch U to learn to control her powers and make them more powerful so if she used them without thinking it would be a waste of the schools time meaning the movie would be pointless. Seeing that she didn't use her powers the instant she had a stupid Idea meant that she was learning to control them not that she was being a wimp. like they say in all the movies... with true power comes true responsibility and I think they made this Halloweentown very well thank you very much. In addition to that You DON'T need Linkberly J Brown to make the movie... yes it would have been nicer but that is like saying if Paula Abdul left American Idol than it would be ruined... but if Paula left American Idol then it wouldn't be horrible granted it would be different but If you watched American Idol for the singing the judges don't matter. So I give Return to halloweentown two thumbs up!

I loved this movie. I really hope there is a fifth. It really surprised me when Ethan revealed that he was a mortal. I didn't see that one coming. I also never guessed that Splendora was actually Aggie. I have watched these from the start and now I'm waiting for the next part. I also couldn't believe that Ethan and Marnie never kissed. Seriously, I expected that throughout the movie, but they never did. Oh yeah, Sarah Paxton did good in her role as Marnie. She may not be the original, but you could barely tell, or I couldn't at least. J. Paul Zimmerman surprised me in his role, too. My favorite part that he was in was when Dylan got turned into a dog and then back human. It was funny when his mom said "Just don't roll over, not yet." Can't wait to find out the next theme.
