Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011)

Excellent story, brilliant script, good acting.a BIG well done to the entire team of Pyar ka Panchnama. I normally don't watch a lot of bollywood movies and if i do it would be horror or crime / gangster movies but this movie was strongly recommended to me by one of my friend and i decided to watch it.. and tell you what.. it was one of the best i have seen in "comedy / romance" genre.. it is so true every scene seems like something i have seen before happening to someone in real life.Brilliant acting from all the new guys and i think the casting was excellent too. The music could have been better but it can be easily ignored. To me its a complete entertainment package and you will come out smiling after watching this and hopefully all you young guys out there might learn a thing or two..If you think you can't take 2hrs and 30 mins out for this movie, i would strongly suggest to think again. You 've got to watch it!!!And yes "Liquid" was too good..

For the most part this movie is a hidden gem and I was quite enjoying the ride until it got midway through the second half and after that everything started to deteriorate.The acting by the entire main cast is very commendable. The three guys gelled very well and you could just about believe that they've been best friends all their lives. The three females do their part as wicked vixens, particularly Charu and you want to dislike them all. Granted the movie was skewed this time in that it painted a bright light on the guys and cast the women in a negative shade but this does happen in real life so we'll go with the flow...I could see myself in each of the three- easy going, looking for love, flirtatious and also desperate at times. Therefore, it mattered to me the deeper the three dug themselves in a hole with their various girlfriends and maddeningly would not do anything about it.The various situations are believable. How many guys would do anything for the hot girl at work- bringing her coffee or a sandwich, walking her to the door, doing her work...all just to get her attention. Mind you, though, Liquid does go a bit overboard.Why then, if you've got 3 intelligent and sensible guys would they not realize that they're in a hopeless situation and just quit before it gets worse? And that's where the problem in the movie lay...the script that called for a 2.5 hour movie. After the interval we're subjected to watching each guy getting steamrolled by each girl. Choudhary keeps getting the run around by Rhea, Rajat is being constantly whipped in line by Neha and Liquid is being used and abused by Charu shamelessly. After a couple of instances it quickly becomes irritating as predictably the next scene arrives and there's more of the same. And the dumb thing is that each of the guys know the girls for about 6 months...hardly enough time to keep chasing after them. This should have been resolved before 2 hours.The second downfall is the ending and how things get resolved...Rajat's resolution was the best, Choudhary's was blah and Liquid's was just jaw dropping...as in the what kind of stupid bullshit was that? The ending left a bitter taste in my mouth and basically spoiled what was an excellent movie.Still I'd recommend it- it's definitely worth a watch. The jokes are funny and there are a couple of excellent scenes- Rajat's rant and also his resolution, Liquid's explicit tirade to name a few. The acting is another reason to recommend it- these guys put a lot of the so called Bollywood actors to shame. The subject matter is realistic- these problems happen to the majority of us so there's nothing unbelievable about it. Ignore the length and the ending and you'll really have a good time. Watch it with your significant other and see if you can empathize with Rajat, Choudhary or Liquid...and for most of you you probably can!

excellent movie, and its the truth , that's how girls are after a relationship...Luv Ranjan has shown the truth and reality of how females are not just in Indian culture but all the cultures around the world. Every guy should take his girlfriend to watch this movie or show this movie before they tie a node of relationship like a marriage...So if girls quarrels proving herself that she is not like those one in the movie shoe might be of some other kinda then spend most of your time in a relationship know her better than later regretting and feeling screwed ..

its was no doubt worth watching flick...not a single minute was waste!! but the ending i think cud have been much better....turning guys against girls for real payback!! like i wud add... after vikrant leaves rhea he goes to a bar where he meets an old friend who ..(old friend shoud've been a known face like Ranbeer or Salman)...vikrant tells him about the things going on with them friends...he takes him home n they awl discuss what happened with them...!! the guy tells them what to do... Rajat's tells that her girl that he has to pay a visit to his parents...and as he comes back he plays the same game with her...to make her realize what he felt and leaves her the same way as in the movie.... Nishant goes to charu the next day at office n says he was calling...as charu started shouting on him he pulls the trigger n says he was calling bcuz she owes him some money which he wants back...the money she took for the flat and other shopping...he gives her a list of the shopping she did on his credit card and etc...and says the kiss wasn't worth this amount so she should return soon...!! Vikrant gets back with the girl...a few days later they go to a party where his friend sends a girl before them introducing herself as vikrant's exgf..they started romancing n Rhea leaves the place in jealousy...she calls vikrant that night but he doesn't receive...next day he gives her back the same excuse for not receiving her call like she did...they have a fight n vikrant give treats her the same way "space,my life etc"...vikrant leaves Rhea.. the dhaba scene must've been altered to "they have no regret for what happened but a little pleasure for paying them back..."
