Rajini being chiseled by director shankar who has packaged whole of the above ingredients into a wafer thin plot and made a wholesome entertainer that leaves you yearning for more of the one and only RAJINI diet. A must watch for those who require a stress buster after a hard grind and a decent entertainer for those who seek time pass, an entertainer which requires you to keep your brain safe in a locker and just play the DVD, sit in front of the monitor and ENJOY!!!!!!

I watched sivaji with lots of expectations as it had the dream combination of shankar and rajinikanth and arrahman, but the movie turned to be a out and out typical Rajinikanth's movie with glimpses of shankar's skills and a half baked storyline.Rajinikanth has delivered a mind blowing performance as Shivaji and also as Mottai Boss.The songs were visually pleasing to the eyes .The biggest letdown was from shankar who has directed the movie with a flawed script, as a lot was expected from him.And also from arrahman who songs were average when compared to his other songs .I really expect rajini to act a movie like thalapathi before he retires from cinema .

Those who think that the movie is not that good, should watch it again because many like me have enjoyed the movie very much the second time!! rajini's acting,style and his sheer presence are the highlights of the movie....shankar has given his best too....shreya looks sexy all the way....vivek's role as a sidekick goes well as well....all the people behind the camera deserve a standing applause as well....lot of money has gone into this movie-nearly 80 crores INR - solely dependent on Superstar's fame...and the way people have received this movie,it might bring in lot of profit to the producers/distributors and whomever concerned with the movie....a must watch for every rajini fan and for others,watch it sans expectations....100% enjoyment ride

I was curious to see Superstar Rajinikanth movie after 2 years. When its the combo of Rajini-Shankar-AR my expectation was beyond the limits, trust me guys it were all fulfilled. Action scenes, Songs, Puch-dialouges, each and every frame of the movie was spectacular, no words to describe. Especially for the ORU-KUDAI (Style) song it was a total surprise. Shankar transformed our thalaivar in to a white man using CG, this the first time in the history of cinema world anything happened like this. Hats off to shankar for his creative thinking! Rajini proved that he is the only Superstar and no one can beat him ever.On the whole Sivaji is Rajini's Best. It is like the 8th wonder of the world to me. ROCKING!!!
