Peter Parker is an outcast high schooler abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

Bland is the best way to describe this movie. It's not awful and it certainly isn't great. This is probably the most boring Spiderman film, at least with The Amazing Spiderman 2 and Spiderman 3 having so much going on, your attention is drawn to different things. (Although those movies are boring and messy themselves). This film just feels like a remake of Spiderman with no charm really. The acting is okay, the characters are pretty bad and the villain in particular is awful. The structure of the film isn't as much of an issue as it's sequel but the scenes don't exactly build up to anything and it just feels like an attempt to get the groundwork layed out for future films. There are some decent scenes like the final battle where Gwen's Dad helps Peter and tells him to keep away from her. But there really isn't much more to praise. Overall it's just kind of bad with some okay elements and isn't really worth watching if you've seen Spiderman 1 because it just feels like a mediocre version of that. This is my fith favourite Spiderman film.

When this film came out on cinemas in 2012 I missed it, dismissing it as yet another entry into a waning franchise used as a mile to make more money. When I decided to give it a go in 2013 boy did I eat my words. Despite some unecassary mystery elements the film is bloddy brilliant. Andrew Garfield is low-key my favourite Spiderman, and although his second film isn't worth the paper the script was printed on, his first outing was amazing. Good CGI and effects all round, plus an interesting story and a good villain, even if his motives arent very inspired. Especially for younger viewers who can overlook any plot holes, this film is a great watch for anyone. Watch it

Am I the only one who watched this movie only because of Emma Stone. One of the most beautiful actress in Hollywood appear as Peter Parker girlfriend. There is too much important death such as uncle Ben and Emma Stone caracters father. The movie is funny. The final antagonist is one of the worst in Marvel movies. The giant reptilian have no interesting facts.

He is actually close to a high school age and funny and I think that every Spider-Man has to be funny that's a key element
