This video was a quality presentation that can keep the viewers attention. The format of multiple speakers and settings was insightful. The historical content that is presented was very surprising. I am in the male dominate automotive repair field and observe biases similar to these as far as women being automotive technicians. This video showed areas that our society can improve with positive impact.

This film is a well done documentary showing the current and unfortunately growing gap between the exponentially expanding world of computer coding and women pursuing the career. Although women were historically some of the most prolific and successful coders, the career has become predominantly male driven. The film shows the challenges women have faced in some of our most well-known tech companies and how important it is to expand our perspectives two be more inclusive. Each of the women, young and old, in this film does an outstanding job of telling their story in a manner that let's everyone see the problem that gender bias plays in our society. You could clearly see that the problem is real because, despite outstanding credentials, proved skills, and successful records, these women continue to face challenges based solely on their gender. This film is highly recommended for boys and girls or anyone consider a career choice or change into a non-traditional role.

CODE takes a topic that is, often times, not discussed in a general setting, and brings it right in the viewer's safe space, shining light on the gender gap that is clearly present in today's world, and has been present since working first began. The documentary does a good job of exploring the gap in the industry of coding, but also is able to relate it to other occupations by showing how prone an occupation in which most of us don't really know about is to gender discrimination. It also does a good job of showing us that we should be introducing special courses, such as coding, to students in grade school so they can have a better understanding of what it is, and if it's something they might be interested in doing.
