Surprisingly lifetime produced a top quality horror production film that deals with witchcraft and reincarnation.Sarah Chalke lights up the screen as she moves into the house of a witch burned at the stake and may be her future incarnated vessel, but not before placing a curse on her murderers.A killer is on the loose obsessed with the legend and picking off the descendants one by one.It does leave a few questions to consider: Did the witch steal Sarah's soul? Did the curse prevent these give individuals from moving out of town and why wait a hundred years before the grand scheme?Still it reliever a a gut punching thriller with suspense, drama and haunting imagery that stays with you for days after viewing. It reminds me of seventies flicks that aired for TV without being bloody and relying on investing in the story they are trying to tell. The acting is top notch for a caste that seemed at first to be hired on looks.I've been waiting for you is a treat for any horror fan looking for A different flavor and style to consume. Its a winner in my book.

I did start my Halloween challenge on Saturday 22nd. Which will be 40 days of horror movies/.Yesteday Day 3 I've been waiting for you (1998) Well, It Sounded a bit like scream but with bit witches added to it. The masked wasn't to bad but I found it more funny then scary. The movie it self wasn't all that gory or scary however it still intruded me from start to end,With these you can't' tell who the killer is from their first scenes but I did enjoy those funny witches scenes. which I found a bit funny, I don't think that was intended. The acting wasn't all that bad. not great but decent for a TV movie. I didn't really liked how it was all revealed out. The last scene kinds of leaves you hanging. I did here there was meant another to sequel to this movie. which would have explained the last scene.5 out of 10

i thought it was a pretty good movie. It was a little predictable, but it definitely outlined the way the "in" crowd acts to outsiders. The script was OK, the dialog was a bit stiff. It had some funny moments. It was worth watchingjust to see Markie Post fall down the stairs. Great twist at the end, too!! I was so sure that the guy in the mask was Eric! The first clue that Sarah isn't an innocent was the cat. If you are a Sarah Chalke fan, i would watch just to see her play a spooky character. As far as Punky Brewster goes, she never did a good role after that, and this was no different. I just don't see her as a catty teen.

First off I am a huge Lois Duncan fan. I am not however a fan of her books being made into TV Movies. The other one was I believe Killing Mr. Griffin. Another great book botched by TV. What I am growing tired of is the sterotypical Witch being portrayed in movies and TV. Enough already. How about a movie about an band of Christian killers? Of course that story will never fly. These type of plots are getting tired and old. I am also sick of teen movies as well. Movies about bored teens who read to many D&D books who go looking for trouble are as lame as they get. Let's get another thing straight historically. NO Witches were ever burned at the stake in the US. That was Europe. By the way the People killed in Salem were not Witches either.
