I am always very critical with movies like these as they tend to think that the watchers are dumb and don't care about the details and often use unrealistic situations just to get the story going. This movie on the other hand feels very real and all Common movie mistakes has been eleminated and I am so thankful for that. The story might be cliche but this is done in a very surprising suttle manor. The cast worked very well for me and the humor was not over the top but just the right amount of chiches and the right dose of seriousness. Thank you! It was a delightful movie and the cruise ship feel felt real and the music nicely picked. Can't believe I actually watched a movie in the genre that touched me like movies did in the late 80ies and mid 90ies. And the chemistry between the two leading characters I would have never seen coming. Worked! More easy watchable and surprising comfortable movies like these please. Thumbs up from me.
I absolutely loved this film, it hit home with me with my real life. Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammar was absolutely magical together.
The only thing this actrice can do, is watching on her telephone. Don't like her, not sympathetic. Annoying.
We've seen it all before, its pretty much just a movie exploring the relationship between a father and his estranged daughter using a disguised advert for Royal Caribbean as its backdrop. I didn't hate it, I can't really understand any of the other reviewers which seem to either hate it with a passion or love it to death - its neither of these things, its like a made for TV movie that just chugs along doing what it does and what has been done countless times before. Middle of the road 5*'s which has its moments if you are stuck for something to do on a rainy afternoon.
