Frogtown II (1992)
In the sequel to Hell Comes to Frogtown, the Mutant-Frog leader of Frogtown kidnaps a professor and forces him to make a serum that will turn everyone into Frogs, they also kidnap some people to test the serum on. And courageous Sam Hell will have to save them.

Sam Hell never repopulated the Earth and they don't even talk about that in this movie. I have no idea why they went back to Frogtown and I didn't really understand or enjoy anything that happened there. Except for the song that is performed live on stage, some kind of TMNT dis rap. The new guy playing Hell is just hard to look at, it doesn't help that the plot is non-existent.
Return to Frogtown was a hard film to track down. Well, I accomplished that mission and it had been sitting on the shelf for a good while. Wish it was kept that way! First, Sam Hell is of course not Roddy Piper. He is replaced by a dude with a large face, less charisma, and this poor actor is very soft-spoken for the part! Sam Hell is supposed to be rebellious and awesome. Here, he gets captured THREE times! What kind of a hero is that?! Spangle is replaced as well here by another actress. Why did we not get different characters here? This was stupid! Lou Ferrigno stars in this film and he is not even the hero. Common sense says let Lou be the hero of the film! Bad effects, poor acting, and just a forgettable film. Funny as they take shots at Ninja Turtles 2 with the whole concert scene in this movie. At least Ninja Turtles 2 was funny and not a bad movie! I really wanted to like Return to Frogtown, but I just cringed when the fight scenes would commence. This film makes Turtles 3 look like gold! Avoid this or you will be the one singing "meaner, greener, talking turtle TV dinner!"
I feel as though this movie accomplished what it set out to do. It was a humerous sequel to the original "Frogtown" in which a oversized jaw hero thwarts the frogs evil plans, not to mention Denise Duff from "Subspecies" looking good as ever. This is not a show for everyone, but if you enjoy silly sci-fi's then give this one a try.
This has to be one of the stupidest films ever. In it, Lou Ferrigno (tv's "Incredible Hulk,kids), plays a texas rocket ranger who gets kidnapped by alien frogs. This is a modern b-movie, the scene where the frog band sing a song is sure to become a cult movie moment in years to come. Hilarious, if you like this sort of thing.
