The main characters are four good friends in their early twenties. Guan Zheng wants to live life facing the future bravely, Xiao Jing is their junior with a tomboyish personality, Pin Yu is sweet and girlish while Ah Xiong is wooden and honest. They left their homes for their own reasons and have settled in a living arrangement where they stay together. The four friends meet Yan Yi, a girl around their age and also get to know a woman as sophisticated as Wei Han Ren.
