Three Times Each for Short and Long Ways
Jong Sil, a sound effects director, is awarded a carte blanche for his ingenious invention of a coke bottle opener sound used in a commercial film for an Arab client. Ecstatic, drunk, he heads home to his wife and kids, only to end up spending the night in an apartment unit one floor above which belongs to a single woman. The preposterous one-night-stand snowballs into a major event, for which he is reported gone missing on TV. Lost, Jong Sil becomes more involved with the woman, discovering things about her, as their relationship takes an unexpected turn.

In the Jewish tradition, tshuvah means "return", and describes the return to God and our fellow human beings that is made possible through repentance for our wrongs. Tony McAleer is a former Skinhead and Holocaust denier who went on to become a founding member of the anti-hate activist group Life After Hate. Profoundly aware and deeply ashamed of the lineage of hate he'd once promoted, Tony had long-contemplated traveling to Auschwitz in the spirit of tshuvah - to bear witness to the inconceivable ravages of the Holocaust, and deepen his personal work against the rise of extremist politics. The documentary tells the stories of persecution and violence when the Brazilian civil-military dictatorship acted against the LGBT population and how this same group constituted its resistance, becoming a fundamental subject of the redemocratization process. The coup of 64 did not establish this prejudice, but, during this period, the LGBT population was considered the enemy of the traditional family, morals and good customs.
