At The International Butler Academy in Simpelveld, The Netherlands, students from all over the world and of all ages are taught the tricks of the butler trade. The film follows six students during their training. What motivates them to choose this servile profession?

Students from all over the world arrive at the academy. They meet the master of the house and staff. The first lessons start.
Playtime is over, etiquette and basic skills have been introduced. It is now expected that students will begin to perform and serve at a high level.
After weeks of practice and preparation, it's time for the formal dinner. The first guests arrive. Can the students manage to give the guests an unforgettable evening while respecting all etiquette rules?
With only the theoretical and practical exams left, the training is almost over. Was this intense roller coaster what the students expected? And what are their dreams and ambitions for the future?
