The Cloth (2013)

I apologize in advance to anybody who was involved in making this movie, but it was horrible piece of crap! I could not finish it. The acting was terrible, the plot was cobbled together and the script was poor and did nothing to make me care about any of it. Special affects were horrible and some of them just didn't fit at all. I know what they were trying to achieve, but they missed the mark completely.I wasted at least 30-40 minutes of my life before I made the decision to pull the plug on it. If I hadn't have gotten this as a free rental I would have been furious. I wouldn't even call this a 'B' movie, more like a 'C' maybe a 'D'.Do not waste your time. Watch something else instead like paint drying.

This is the first movie I actually just ejected out of the DVD player and completely bailed on. I had hope on the first scene, which wasn't bad as far as a low budget movie goes, but it just collapsed from there. Not one single actor here has any more experience than a freshmen level drama class, and I don't necessarily mean college. And the tiny scenes with veterans Eric Roberts and Danny Trejo, who gave Oscar worthy performances by comparison, just made you see how absolutely bad the rest of the cast were. Then the amateurs are given a limp, vapid, and clichéd script desperately crammed with exposition, which again, I tried to overcome. Then the direction and editing pound the final nail in the coffin. Scenes where "actors" blow their lines and try to repeat them are left in uncut. The laptop grade CGI effects are teased but then never used. After the fight scene in the garage where all the punches and special effects were all off-screen , I cried uncle and hit eject. There's a reason the first scene is the DVD cover, its the only successful part of the movie.

First, they used cheap film stock always slightly out of focus, no one has the top of their head in most of the shots. My grandmother used to take photos like that, no foreheads!!!! The special effects were really quite funny, not intentionally of course. No wonder it went direct to video. Eric Roberts must be on muscle relaxers as his performance is dull and lethargic, and Danny Trejo is basically a cameo. The other actors in the film are uninspiring and really need acting lessons. The film is dark and brooding, but then, so is my cat. About halfway through the film, I noticed that staring at my cat was way more scary. Maybe she is possessed!!!! Maybe I am, while writing this review! I know this film is possessed --- of no good qualities!Peace out, Jen

A young man who has a habit in picking up young ladies in the nightclubs is found by a priest in order to take him to the church and after showing him what they keep in the basement is asked by join him in order to help peoples that are possessed by demons. After witnesses the release of his father murderer he is not willing to offer his help but after meeting the cute girl that needs to teach him some rituals and especially when she comes at his house to try and convincing to join them he finally agrees. Now follow a demon hunt witch they will have to escape the people from the evil inside them.It looks to me like a bad version of Constantine at least some scene were similar like that girl climbed in the corner of the room. The opening scene was good and realistic, the demon voice also, that language spoken very good but outside those things, it's not a better way to dress like a mercenary and shoot them all around in order to save them.
