Dave Made a Maze (2017)
Dave, an artist who has yet to complete anything significant in his career, builds a fort in his living room out of pure frustration, only to wind up trapped by the fantastical pitfalls, booby traps, and critters of his own creation. Ignoring his warnings, Dave’s girlfriend Annie leads a band of oddball explorers on a rescue mission. Once inside, they find themselves trapped in an ever-changing supernatural world, threatened by booby traps and pursued by a bloodthirsty Minotaur.

Dave, an artist and kind of a loser who has never completed anything in his life, decide one day to build a fort in his house with all kinds of traps and such. Even though I give the director and it's writers acompliment for trying, this film is just a mess.
It's been a long time since I watched a good surreal movie. It's a surreal journey into Dave's cardboard maze. Since it's a surreal movie, no question can be raised about the logic in the movie. Story and picturisation are really good. Clever and original. This kind of movie doesn't require special acting or big actors. Acting is okay. The only drawback is the heroine. She is a real eyesore, quiet disgusting. Didn't they find any better, good looking actress to act in this movie? My God! I simply couldn't tolerate her. Otherwise, it's an enjoyable movie for surreal fans.
These good reviews are really written by the friends and family of whoever made this thing !!!! wt ever u do just don't even think of watching it go do something else there is nothing to see in this thing. nothing. not even a beautiful actress. stupidity is all there is. you know wt watch the 1st 22 minutes of this so-called a ((movie)) and say something to the review that says its the best 2017 movie .. i don't know can we report that person ??
Annie (Meera Rohit Kumbhani) comes home and discovers a large cardboard box in her living room. Her boyfriend Dave (Nick Thune) is inside the box and can't find his way out. She protests at the stupidity of it all and eventually some friends with camera equipment show up and likewise can not fathom the issue...until they all enter the maze. As Dave says, "It's a lot bigger on the inside." Technically it is a labyrinth with traps and a Minotaur. Some of the rooms appeared to be inspired from movie scenes, but not an homage. The cardboard set was clever and must have took a while to make up. It is clearly a cult film, and one that if it was made in the 60's would be called either a stoner film or an acid film. It is so idiotic it is clever.Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. Not for everyone.
