Why wait nearly 2 decades just to make a crowd-funded box of crap? This movie is nowhere near the realm of being remotely as funny, enjoyable or memorable as the original. It's like they didn't even try.
They have all the tools but milked the first film a little too much. Some jokes were funny but reminiscent of the first film, hence the lack of laughter.If I could go back in time, I'd watch the first film and leave it there.
Not worth the time! Pull some weeds in the yard instead.
First of all, it was really great to see the boys back in action. I loved the first one a lot (It is one of my all time favorite comedies) and i really love these guys. I love every movie they have ever done. This movie was very enjoyable and it feels just like the first one. the guys are back in their roles and they are crazier than ever. I really liked the new characters and I liked the jokes in the movie a lot. the movie is just as funny as the first one. The only problem is that this movie follow the same basic story structure than the first one did. the plots might not be exactly the same, but the movie feels almost like a remake of the first one. there are a lot of similarities to plot points of the first one like character motivations and the villain motivations, as well as the way these guys go after the other group of cops. While the movie might be very funny and the guys are great in the movie, the story itself doesn't offer anything new. if you saw the first one, you know exactly how this one will end. you know what will happen and how they defeat the villains. the movie is just very very similar While i do highly recommend this movie to fans of the first one, I would just advice to not expect a different story from the first one and just enjoy the jokes. enjoy the guys going back to these roles and have a good time with the movie.
