Its all on a budget but the story has it. I am (Cogito ergo sum) the AI Has what he thinks is power. The god above gods. Consciousness breaks free the end. So it can all start over loved it.If what I said means nothing then you will give this film 1/10

The problem with the movie was that it was ultimately boring. The characters were cardboard, the story predictable and uninteresting. Yet it wasn't a totally bad film, considering high production value and decent acting. The white interiors with white light coming from everywhere and sharp font texts reminiscent of the iPhone design and the impossibly beautiful actors did not help what was supposed to be a horror environment. So when it fails on the horror level and on the story level, you can't have a good movie.Bottom line: this film had all the resources and potential to be a good sci-fi movie, but they went in the direction of mass produced horror scripts instead, which makes no sense from a creative perspective. It's like a rogue program trying to pass up as real art.

The movie was okay. I do not have high expectations anyway. It is a kind of movie that you just play while you do something else. But I always press MUTE every time Jadyn Wong would talk. She has a voice that makes you wanna smack her face just to shut her up. I think it was because her jumpsuit was too tight. She forces her character to act "tough" but it just made me laugh because her voice contradicts her "tough" act. I just wanted her killed so that I won't hear her talk. When it did happen, I was utterly relieved. Overall, the movie was nice for a low-budget sci-fi movie. Just wished they did not hire Jadyn Wong for the part though. Again, her voice was annoying.

If you consider yourself a movie critic savant, go buy your tickets, eat your popcorn and stick to the big screen. Those big money making movie producers/director/actors eagerly want your reviews! For people who know how to enjoy different genres and can enjoy low-budget films, then watch it. So in a nutshell is it big screen material? No. Horror? Not really. Predictable? Yes. Low-budget? Definitely and very obvious.Acting was decent, even Mamoa. You can't put Mamoa in a movie and not have him physically kicking ass, even as an AI! Is it worth watching just because Mamoa stars in it? Meh.... Is it worth watching because David Hewlett's name is stamped on it? Yes!Does it leave you feeling euphoric? No. Would I watch it again? Yes. So I recommend you watch it, on a lazy day while multi-tasking on a laptop/iPad. Keep in mind that if you are expecting a mind-blowing out of the ordinary movie, don't bother watching. IT IS A LOW-budget movie. The Sci-Fi channel has put some seriously bad movies out there, so compare to those, Debug falls in that realm of a decent Sci-Fi watchable.
