The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (2009)

This is a good remake. Is it as good as the original- depends really on which one you see first. But Travolta is menacing, and the film never outstays its welcome.

This is a Crude, Irritating, Ill-Executed, Retarded remake of the original 1974 movie.This stupid movie again proves 2 important things: 1 - Many remakes are not as impressive as the original and 2 – The movies of the 1970s have subtleties that appeal to our minds, in contrast to, the fast-paced,noisy, show-offish, macho movies of today. The taking of the Pelham 123 suffer from the following ills: 1.Crude shot-effects (stuttering frames, image wipes and frantic editing)2.Crude dialogues (excessive use of the F-word which also includes the boy and the girl with laptops expressing love for each together using the F-word in the middle of tense situation)3.Stupid scenes/dialogues (Walter Garber's wife asking him to bring home a gallon of milk during the hostage crisis and the stupid GF of the boy with the laptop asking him to express his love for her in the middle of the hostage crisis)4.No depth in any character 5.No real suspense at all (only noisy dialogues and machismo) 6.Noisy background musicPS: Contact me - [email protected]

The Taking of Pelham 123 is an enjoyable and fun thrilling heist thriller. It'snot so much a mindless action film as some may consider, but it does the job what audiences are looking for. Lead by strong performances from Denzel Washington and John Travolta, this train terrorism film clicks on all angles when we see the characters portraying and sparking back to one another. Although the ending may be predictable, the journey and overall suspense and thrills of the film is reason why this film works and is entertaining. The other reason is the chemistry of Washington and Travolta. The sci-fi and overall action in this film is greatly directed by Tony Scott. Surprised by a few laughs (many of which by John Travolta), this film is all around enjoyable and recommend for fans of thrilling action heist films.

Last month, I watched Taking the Pelham 123. It's an action movie. The film stars are Denzel Washington and John Travolta.Like the film's name says it is a story about taking the Pelham number 123. The guy is taking over the Pelham and asking for money to release the people in train.John Travolta is acting like Ryder and Denzel Washington like Walter Garber who is employee of MTA. Ryder and Walker built good friendship. The characters are interesting because we found many information and character's history. Dialogue between these characters is amazing because their attitude.In my opinion this is very gripping film, although it is an action movie. Overall, it is a really enjoyable action.
