Saying about the movie, when you look technically into it - There is no concrete story line help up, though the story revolves around the protagonist Mike Weiss, it doesn't stick upto the thing. It swings to many corners likeMike Weiss personal life - drug addictionsPaulDanziger family and problems Jeffrey Dancort Nathaniel Price's character exposition The nurse's story May those are the things that was the take away from the true incidents but which in-turn didn't make us to hold firm to the one-liner of the movie or build up the intensity in any point of time. So, technically I would rate 6.5/10. Still I prefer to rate high for the intentions of the movie to bring the facts to light.(I didn't know about the safety needles until I watched it!)

I am personal injury product liability lawyer in Miami and I can attest that there are very few movies that portray the life of a real lawyer more accurately or painfully than "Puncture." I think it should be required viewing for every 1L entering law school in this country. They could not find an actor to portray Mark Lanier with more talent than the man himself. I was thrilled to see my friend in action and can attest that he and this story are real.Take the time and see this movie before you spend the next 3 years in law school. This a a great film, fast paced and with excellent actors. Most importantly, it is a true and important story.

because Chris Evans is casted in puncture i saw it. its not that i am a very big fan of his but the subject of the movie is exactly the opposite of my current mood. after watching 12 continuous Korean romantic comedies thank god i dared to watch this movie. i am not gonna talk about film-making here but the guy who made difference and saving millions of lives every year worldwide is portrayed in very unexpected manner. and its surprisingly true story. its one of that story of a guy who silently changes the world for his own reason. watch it if you like to know about world changers.

I have to be as honest as possible here: the only reason I came to discover this little indie gem was because of Chris "Steve Rogers/Johnny Storm" Evans participation on it. It was one of those lazy, hot weekend nights, just returning from a much needed bar-hopping experience with some good friends, a little wasted and with no sleep whatsoever in the horizon. Clicked on the online services I happen to subscribe and browsed aimlessly, looking for something to entertain myself waiting for Morpheus' call. Saw a picture of Mr. Evans on the cover, looking all somber and bleak, sporting a beard, holding a needle on his hand. Well, the first thing I thought about was "well, folks, I bet Evans is on total Nic-Cage-on-crack mode; this must be fun to watch". And I have clicked on to start. Boy, and I was wrong. The movie is everything except Evans going haywire and stuff. A highly enthralling and interesting subject, supported by an excellent cast and compelling drama, "Puncture" makes a louder thud than anything a few bearded fatsos could dream of, simply by presenting facts and giving us characters we care about. Evans is at his best, aided by the co-director Mark Kassen, the surprisingly restrained Marshall Bell and Bret Cullen in their task to raise some questions. I suggest to watch this precious movie back-to-back with "The Constant Gardener". That aspirin will never be the same again.
