In spite of what people part three better then part one most of the time. This better then the original Lake Placid. Lake Placid 2 is scarier. But still this very scary. It has great acting. It also has a great story line. It also has great special effects. It is very intense . It is a great film most some a lot people probably don't like. The critics probably don't like it. It is a sequel so they most hate it. This most is must see. It is a great horror film. It very cool movie. I may not seen very good to people who would not know a good monster movie if there life depended on it. IF you want to see a very scary movie then you need to see this movie. This a great movie. It very scary see it. If you got scared of Sinister the this should real scary you. You may not want to watch this alone.

Colin Fergusson gives a superb performance in director G.E. Furst's exciting entry in the Lake Placid saga. Yancy Butler and dependable Michael Ironside provide strong support with Butler giving the proceedings some much needed comedy relief. However, the light hearted moments are overshadowed by the dark, gritty horror of the giant alligator attacks that threaten to destroy all life. The shocks are unrelenting and the suspense builds to a shattering climax that is almost more than can be endured. The script is intelligent and fast paced and the images of the crocodiles in all their horrific ferocity are nothing less than haunting. This is a film that will cause many second thoughts before anyone swims in a lake again. Hi octane thrills from start to finish and Fergusson has never been better.

I was kind of 50/50 on what to think of this! I just watched with an open mind! It had a more slower paced & for the first time, a different opening to the Lake Placid Franchise! It starts a couple who go skinny dipping in the lake & as usual an attack takes place! This time 4-5 baby Crocodiles attack the couple in the most embarrassing way before gnawing on them & killing them! 2 Years later & the crocodiles have turned into adult crocodiles! The young boy keeps feeding them meat from their house & also steals from the supermarket in order to feed them! The kills were abit cut out in the film & the bloody graphics were almost as good as Lake Placid 2! The graphics, AKA, CGI was cheaply done just like the previous film! The Crocodiles looking unrealistic & the attacks looking fake with several rending errors noticeable with the cheap CGI! Like the biting effects looked really fake & not meaty or even realistic! The film consists of Teens who go camping (& Yes you guessed it! Strip naked & change into bikinis which is slightly different but all the same! Seen it all & done it all! In other words!), some hunters including an over-her-head hunter, Reba! Including the family, babysitter & the son who was feeding the Crocodiles! The ending on the other hand with the petrol station was pretty good! Liked how the crocodile exploded into blood & guts by foolishly eating the petrol nozzle with petrol coming out!To say the least! I liked this film as much as the second, the second which I thought was just a tiny abit better for some reason! This one having abit more of a slower approach! It makes me wonder were all the Crocodiles come from in these sequels! But I was in 2 minds in what rating to give this film, so 9/10

I give the movie a 5, simply because of acting and the storyline. The acting is very well done. The special effects are what detracts from the overall experience, however, there are small occasions where they are decent, nothing Mr. Spielberg or J.J. Abrams would have though. All the women in the movie are easy on the eyes. Me, personally, I have always had a thing for Yancy Butler, something about those eyes, they are so captivating.A spoiler follows: It is left open at the end for a Lake Placid 4, so, hopefully someone will re-vamp it and throw more money to it to get it to rate a 7(or higher) in my book.
