Boxing instructor and prune juice junkie Frank (Danny Trejo) teams up with high sticking curmudgeon Bernie (Danny Glover) to avenge the death of a young drug dealing boxer. The plot is predictable. The film is filled with cliches and corny humor poking fun at old men. This is a fun comedy/action film. Where else are you going to see Trejo playing Barbies? Parental Guide: F-bomb. No sex or nudity. Sarah Dumont bra/panties and double majors.

Great movie. Great mix with Danny Trejo and Danny Glover. Very funny movie. Good to see Danny Trejo in comedy. Danny Glover still has it as a great actor. Both together is an excellent mix. Thought the first movie was good. The second even better. Will be watching the third part soon. So good to see Trejo play a role other that a killer. He is a good comedian along with Glover

If you saw Danny Trejo play Frank Vega in the first Bad Ass, then you probably know what to expect from Bad Ass 2: Bad Asses. While I don't think it's quite as good overall, this one is funnier. Trejo is joined by Danny Glover. Together, they make a mean, geriatric, fighting machine. Just the sight of these two guys together is enough to bring a smile to my face - Trejo in his now familiar blue t-shirt, cameo jacket, khaki shorts, and white tennis shoes and socks with Glover wearing a yellow t-shirt, green Adidas track suite, white tennis shoes, and rainbow headband. And they play off each other nicely, constantly making fun of the other's age and medical conditions. A plus for Bad Ass 2 is Andrew Divoff as chief baddie Leandro Herrera. Divoff always plays a fantastic heavy. Yeah, fight choreography is a bit weak, special effects are pretty bad, and there are moments that defy belief (a grenade nonchalantly thrown from a car into a helicopter), but it's all done in with a sense of humor. In this one, Vega is helping young men get off the streets by teaching them to box. One of his prize boxers, however, gets mixed up with some drug dealers and gets himself killed. With the help of his reluctant friend, Bernie, Vega sets out to avenge the young man's death and clean up the streets.I realize Bad Ass 2 isn't a "good" movie by most people's standards. But if you don't take it too seriously, it's not half bad.

Danny Glover might say he's too old for that ... as much as he wants. Fact of the matter is he's still kicking it (or them). In this case he's helping a friend out ... and who wouldn't want to be friends with Danny Trejo? Or any character he portrays of course! Seriously though: If you have seen part one (not necessary for this one, even though it "continues" the story), you will know if this is a movie you will be able to enjoy or not.The added Glover flavor does not elevate the movie too much, though it's always fun hearing the two main actors going at each other. Still there quite a few flaws and you'll be aware that both of them are not really able to do what their characters are supposed to do ... but maybe you won't even care and just enjoy a movie that is like a blast from the past.
