I read Stephen King's "11/22/63" a few years ago. The miniseries is a fine adaptation, with a few minor tweaks. It's good that they adapted it as a miniseries; a single movie would've been too long. The main thing to take from it is that you can't expect to be able to change history so easily. And even if you do, you can't be certain what the result will be.While on the one hand the book and miniseries draw attention to the question of what all happened in Dallas that day, I mainly recommend it as a perceptive look at time travel, and the potential negative results thereof. Because this is a Stephen King work, there are some VERY ugly scenes, but none gratuitous. It's a real page-turner. I recommend it.

11.22.63, a date that we all know and remember, the day of the assassination of J.F.K, a significant event in the history of the world that has shaped our present as we know it!11.22.63 (the show) is such a beautifully written masterpiece, time travel movies or shows tend to be complicated but this series isn't really, it delivers another point of view on the horrific incident that acquired on 11.22.63, a true artistic work with amazing performances and thrilling episodes that gets better an episode after the other, the series won't stop blowing your mind, and the way it shows the different aspects of the American life in the 60'.Some of its downsides are a kind of a poor screenplay at some scenes, and a bit of exaggeration and overdramatizing at points, you might get bored in some episodes but believe me; it's worth watching the whole thing through, you won't believe the ending!Great show, spectacular performances, very well-written and definitely a must-watch.

I know it's only science-fiction/fantasy but 11.22.63 is incredibly egregiously socially irresponsible in it's portrayal of Oswald, George de Mohrenschildt and the happenings before the Kennedy assassination. King would've been better off leaving the details a mystery than making the choices he did. I really don't think he's as well versed as he should've been to take on this subject matter.I've been told he consulted Gerald Posner, the CIA's mouthpiece for Kennedy Assassination misinformation. I'm very disappointed in Stephen King. He usually displays better sense and his moral compass is usually right on the mark. The content is so putrid the good performances of Franco and Gadon are negated as is the direction and production.SPOILER ALERT in my SPOILER ALERT: After watching the entire mini-series. It was even worse than I thought. In Stephen King's world Kennedy never does anything of importance and because he lives the world is a barren wasteland. What a shite sandwich that was. This is, no doubt, the Warren Commision's version of how Kennedy surviving the assassination attempt would be. So, that's why I'm going on IMDb to give this 1 star.

Powerful!! The attempt to go back in time, revealing a butterfly effect of hidden history is something interesting and in a way, destructive. Stephen King really captivates an audience by introducing a large range of emotion in a short story that has you on your toes from start to finish. This short series exclusively on Hulu, did a great job of casting James Franco, and in my opinion is some of seriously taken roles that I enjoyed watching twice.J.FK.'s widely theorized assassination creates a series of events that 11.22.63 represents ambitiously. If you enjoy the thought of diving into the treasures of our history, well this is the show for you.
