I just found this on Netflix, and so my brother and I watched it. We didn't regret it. Kel Mitchell played his character very well, and I always loved "I'm a dude, he's a dude..." and "Welcome to Good Burger, home of the..." and Kenan Thompson did good with Dexter, he actually did look like a high-schooler back then. The story wasn't rushed at all, it played out well. The characters were spot on. The humor was too hard to resist, it was so good! I found myself laughing at the jokes. This movie is just too good to say no to, it's that awesome. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie. It's on Netflix, so if you've finished catching up with Stranger Things, go watch this. You won't regret a thing!

Hello EveryBody Today I'm Reviewing the 1997 Nickelodeon Kids Comedy Good Burger. So this movie is about Ed (Kel Mitchell) who is a dim witted but fun loving fast food worker who works at Good Burger 🍔 and there's also Dexter Reed (Kean Thompson) who has to get a job at Good Burger because he ran into his teacher Mr. Wheat's (Sinbad) car & now he has to work there. Anyway there this other Burger place that wants Good Burger out of business and they have to stop them. Anyway The Movie also stars Otis Played by Abe Vigoda and there also Mr Baily Played by Dan Schneider and Heather Played by Linda Cardellini. Anyway Good Burger was Based off the Nickelodeon TV show All That & it's really sad that this Movie as a 32% on Rotten Tomatoes because I really loved it & just watched it on Netflix this past Tuesday . Anyway Good Buger is a Really Great Burger. 10/10 Updated as of September 29th, 2017

Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger! Can I take your order? Why yes, could you deliver a better movie, next time, Brian Robbins? I don't like, what you're serving here, as a director. I know, that I'll not have it my way, since this movie isn't Burger King. But if Ole' McDonald had to spell it; this movie would spell out: T.R.A.S.H. This is what I felt like, when Good Burger came out. It was a movie that felt like dumpster diving. The meat of the story is pretty old & bloated and the jokes are hard to digest. Yes, a lot of people love this movie, because they can sit back, turn off their brains for the moment and enjoy some hysterical crap, but still like fast food; it's junk. It's very unhealthy & really, really stupid. Based off, the Good Burger skits from then live-action Nickelodeon sketch comedy show, 'All That", the movie tells the story of two dim-witted teenage boys, Ed (Kel Mitchell) & Dexter Reed (Kenan Thompson) trying to save their employer, a fast-food joint call Good Burger, when a new-and-improved burger place, Mondo Burger opens across the street. Can Good Burger stay in business or will Mondo Burger run it to the ground? Watch the movie to find out! Without spoiling the movie, too much. I have to say, the three to four minutes, 'Good Burger' sketches on the 'All That' show, was a lot better than this film. The reason why, is because the nonsensical humor that made the skit, famous; works better in small batches. It doesn't work, in a movie with a run-time of 103 minutes. It's far too long, for a general stupid-ass movie with over the top acting and unrealistic scenarios for my taste. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the movie, I just didn't like it. I like the show version, much, much better. First of all, if you guys like the movie, that's cool, but please take off, your nostalgia goggles for a moment & see it, as what it is; pure crap. Released by Paramount Pictures, the film is noteworthy for being the first theatrical-released film based on a Nickelodeon show. I really didn't mind, the main actors in the film, so much. The two actors, really do have chemistry, together. This film, really did help them, establish themselves as main lead actors, to the point that Nickelodeon created a spin-off show, call Kenan & Kel, just for them. Their characters are a hit or a miss. They are pretty likable, but they come off, annoying and immature at times. In my opinion, the supporting characters are far worst. As much as I love Sinbad; he was just horrible as the 1970's loving, teacher, Mr. Wheat. Every time, he was on screen, I had to fast forward his hammy arguing parts. Another character that I really hate, is Kurt Bozwell (Jan Schweiterman). It's not, the fact, that he is the villain, but how the actor play him. All that exaggerated screaming and yelling was making my ears, bleed. Plus, why are they dress up like Star Trek rejects!? Also, why didn't the main characters know Mondo Burger's biggest darker secret, until the end? Didn't one of them, use to work at Mondos? Anyways, I found the cameos in the film, to be a bit jarring as well. Shaquille O'Neal ordering a burger, before a basketball game? Wouldn't that upset his stomach? No wonder, why he sucks at free throws. He's trying to keep it in. Carmen Electra as Roxanne, an adult woman trying to date, a minor was a bit disturbing and out of place as well. I really didn't like, her bit. The violence acts toward her, wasn't that funny. Two supporting cast members that I did like, in the movie, was Linda Cardellini as Heather & Abe Vigoda as Otis. Linda Cardellini plays her short role as a psycho ward patient, very well. She was not only charming, but surprising, very attractive. Abe Vigoda really makes the movie, so fun to watch, as he has some of the best delivery when it comes to site-gags or the one-liners. It's also nice to see fellow 'All That' cast member Josh Server, Dan Schneider & Lori Beth Denberg shows up as Ed & Dexter's co-workers. I just wish, they had, more to work with. The movie soundtrack was composed by the fantastic Stewart Copeland, drummer for The Police and George Clinton of Parliament-Funkadelic. I like, how they both did film covers of their songs. The score also contains numerous moments of guitar shredding, heavy rock riffs, synthesizers, R&B vocal samples and some funk tracks. It was fun to listen to, but I really have to question, the logic of this movie, when the film had a synchronized dance number, out of nowhere. The jokes are a hit or a miss when it comes to the film. It was mostly a miss to my funny bone, but you gotta give Nickelodeon credit for staying original to the All That-style humor. Still, the movie had some really disturbing sexual humor and suggestiveness. Seeing Ed, wear a corset and stocking was a little too much. This movie is indeed low-brow romp, but I do like, how the movie does have a somewhat of a positive message. I love its themes on community, friendship, and integrity, particularly regarding employment and fairness. It has a particular soft spot for hidden intelligence or the notion that people may be smarter than they seem and capable of talents that are not obvious from their appearances. I also found the critique against fast-food giants putting harmful ingredients & chemicals that makes consumers unhealthy, to be a plus. Overall: This zany antics movie needs some more work. It's not worth driving thru. It's better, just to drive off.

'Black Devil Doll From Hell', 'Tales From the Quadead Zone,' 'Nudist Colony of the Dead' (the musical) 'Gandi To Hitler' (the musical) 'Horrifying Experiments of the S.S.'s Last Days' 'Gestapo's Last Orgy' 'Porno Holocaust' 'Chained Heat 2: Stripped of Freedom' 'Santa Claus Conquers the Martians' 'Caligula Reincarnated As Hitler'...... are all 'Citizen Kane' compared to the 90 minute root canal which is 'Good Burger.' "This is a fun film for kids." say some reviewers. They should all be aware that their kids disagree because they've actually had to watch the movie. They should also be aware their kids are going to fxxxing kill them!!! The fingernail pulling begins with Dexter (Kenan Thompson) planning a relaxing summer vacation by exploiting every black stereotype on the universe.Dexter crashes his car into Sinbad whom unfortunately survives the accident and Dexter must pay to fix his car. WHY? Liability insurance will cover it! This is all just a set up for Dexter to take a summer job at Good Burger with nails on chalkboard Ed (Kel Mitchell).Ed seems to be trying to impersonate Sean Penn's character from 'Fast Times.' It wasn't funny then and it's NOT funny now! When Ed's "Welcome ta Gud Burger home oh da Gud Burger can I's take ya odor." is the highlight of the trailer you know this movie is torture. And that's the next 90 minutes! Ed repeating the same line over and over again for 90 minutes! The being skinned alive only pauses briefly for a few celebrity cameos such as Carmen Electra being hired to seduce Ed. Prince must feel really low right now.The studio also apparently had incriminating photos of George Clinton and Shaquille ONeal since they also put in an appearance. But by far the most humiliating is Abe Vigoda as the janitor. No, seriously it's Abe Vigoda. Yes, the Abe Vigoda. No, this isn't just an internet rumor, it really is Abe Vigoda. OK OK, all kidding aside it really is Abe Vigoda. And what does Abe Vigoda do in this film? He literally just mops the floors in the background! He doesn't even have a single line! WTF!!! No one is this hard up for entertainment. If they showed this in prison it would start a riot. If they showed this in a convent it would also start a riot! DO NOT SEE THIS FILM!!! Alright, all kidding aside Abe Vigoda really is in this film. Please don't watch it to see for yourself just trust me, it's Abe Vigoda.
