Sometimes They Come Back... Again (1996)

I Have seen the first more then once i say, i have not it seen for a while and I wasn't to keen on it and i gave the first movie 4 out of 10 This movie,I did see the trailer for both again and for even more, i must say trailer for again was very well made as it made the movie look good.This as not real connection to first movie expect for evil kids to come back but no longer kids as they demons now. It's took time for it to get going as it was kept showing flashback and here and there to get the back story for first 45 of mins of the movie.It's kind of annoyed me a little as was keep going back and forward and some of the scenes really dull and boring.I did like the idea of how they Were brought back was cool idea but it could been done so much better. I thought death scenes were some-What descent and nothing to bad, there were some bloody deaths in movie but not too gory. Some of the effect in this movie was descent and really well made and some effect were poor at times as well. The acting in this movie was really good from everyone in the cast. I going give this 5 out of 10 (I found this a just a little bit more fun the first movie).

I thought this movie was pretty good i liked the music and the amount of violence in it. However I did not like the end of the movie. The beginning was cool when the demons killed the old ladie and the leader came back to life.I did not like the middle part of the movie were jim norman got killed. I thought that john porter should have gotten the chance to talk to jim norman about his past experience with his demons.For the most part i liked the actors but i did not like the guy who played father acher. He freaked me out when he was telling john how to send the demons back to hell. I also did not like the story line to the movie three teenagers who worship the devil not the best of plot lines.

*Clearly marked minor Spoiler near the end*One thing can be said for Stephen King movies, whether he had a direct hand in them or not. They almost always have at least one or two really good characters, and the plot is always interesting. This film was no exception, and in fact was better than the first film, despite some incompetent cops and occasionally idiotic villains. Alexis Arquette made a great leader of the villains, though at times he seemed to be doing a bit of a Jerry Seinfeld impression. Micheal Gross was also very good as the typical troubled father. To be honest, the only part of the cast that wasn't up to par was Hillary Swank. If you told me in '96 that she would win an Oscar in less than a decade, I would have laughed in your face. As good as she may be now, she was awful in this film! Her lines were monotone, her facial expressions were flat, just and overall bad job. Up until the ending the plot moved along at a good pace, very interesting and enjoyable. The ending on the other hand seemed to drag on forever! I wont spoil it, but suffice to say it could have been a lot shorter. Last but certainly not least: The gore. *Herein lie the minor spoilers that I mentioned, so avert your eyes if you want. Nothing major though.* The deaths were all very well done and gory, though I wish we would have seen more of the lawnmower scene. The death by tarot cards was very cool however, and is quite possibly the best part of the film.Overall, I recommend at least renting the double sided DVD with this and it's predecessor. Two very enjoyable films, though this is slightly better.8/10

if you love the first movie then you will love this one. i believe this sequel is basically similar to the first one... only this film has more vulgarity, and gore. I especially like how good the main charactor acts, he is a great hit.
