3.9 is not good ratting. But this film is so bad 3.9 is overrating it. The Omen (1976) is a good movie. Demain Omen II is a good movie. Omen III The final conflict is a great film. This is awful. Do not see it. It is not scary. The story line is awful. The ending is awful. Do not wast your time. And do not wast your money. Do not see this movie. This is one of the worst horror movie of the 90's. Good actors wasted there talent being in this awful movie. I can believe the same man who directed Halloween 5 the revenge of Micheal Myers directed this crap. I can believe that same who wrote Poltergeist III wrote this crap. Do not see movie is awful. This is just crap.

Sure, the hidden secret of the story was far-fetched, but little Asia Viera as Delia was magnificent. Such expressive, spiteful eyes. She didn't say anything as she wreaked havoc on detractors. Her venom was justly spent on some wretched characters. I felt sorry for her - she didn't ask to be born that way. Unlike Damien (Omen II and III) she didn't attract a following of flatterers who choose to side with evil. A little coven of "Delians" would have been tasty. There is a strange attraction to evil that few films successfully exploit. When Delia came to enjoy her powers, the film missed out on fully illuminating them. I'd like to see a grown-up Delia taking care of her little brother the Antichrist. Maybe some juicy sibling rivalry...

People say this movie is horrible, but I disagree. 'Return to horror high' is a horrible movie. I couldn't even finish that, but Omen 4 I easily finished. It's nothing great, it's very typical, but it has some interesting stuff in it.The ending is pretty good and makes the movie. I didn't see the ending coming, and I like that. Usually I can tell how the movie will end by about a 1/4th of the way into it. But this ending surprised me. Which makes this not horrible.Watch it with an open mind knowing it's a TV movie and you will enjoy it, at least a little. There were supposed to be more TV movies after this one, but they decided not to do it. Which if they don't make money, there is no reason why to make more. But I actually kind of like this being the final one. With Omen 3, the Antichrist dies. You can't have the Antichrist dying. At least with this movie it ends with the Antichrist alive and well. Which means that even if we don't have any more movies, we know that he is out there some where. Which is the way it should have ended. If we are supposed to believe this Revelation stuff, then the Antichrist has to bring on the ending of the world.

I had seen the first three OMEN movies before, but I put off seeing the fourth entry for years because I heard how bad it was. When I got a chance to watch it for a buck, I decided to give it a look. I definitely overpaid to see this movie. It goes wrong right from the beginning, which ignores what happened in the final few seconds of the third OMEN movie. It quickly settles into being basically a rehash of the first movie, though with a sprinkle of ROSEMARY'S BABY added into the stew. There is plenty of awkward dialogue, things happening that NO ONE thinks about or discusses with others, and it travels at such an unbelievably quick pace that you won't have a chance to catch your breath. But even if the story had been more original, it probably would have still sinked because this was a made-for-TV movie. It looks pretty cheap and threadbare at times, with murky photography and depressing location shooting in Canada during the winter. (Actually, although the story spans several years, it's ALWAYS winter in every scene.) And because this was made for TV, the horror and bloodletting never goes beyond a PG level.Even if you happen to be a big fan of the first three movies, you would be better off avoiding this clumsy recycling.
