While watching the movie Trade I found that the characters really mixed together like Jorge and Ray when they had a common goal even though Jorge (cesar Ramos) didn't know what ray (kevin Kline) was looking for until later on in in the story but throughout the movie the emotions of love like Jorge showed for his sister when he start looking for her and the bond of friendship Jorge and ray found after they figured out there coming interests as the movie progresses the pieces fall into play for Jorge to find his sister but the hit a few problems along the way the horrific topic this movie shows about how women and children are abducted and treated is a really eye opener for the real world problem with sex trafficking and slavery that is spread through the black market most people do not see this part of like it is overlooked but this movie shows the reality of the problem that slavery has not yet ended but in the movie it doesn't seem like the government is doing anything about it which is the same in our world today the trade is a very serious thing but the world doesn't want anything to do with it because the fact it makes to much money but this movie shows this idea in different aspects of what happens to the girls but this movie with all the problems it shows of the really world it will keep you watching until the credits come on

The movie Trade was a graphic but real life movie. Every scene in this movie was acted with lots of enthusiasm and was how real life experiences have happened. The movie is about trading human beings, and in this movie it's about a thirteen year old Mexican girl who is kidnapped to auction off her virginity. Girls and boys around the world have been taken from their families just like the two main girl characters in the movie. Although there would be some things I would change and I thought were a little odd, I really liked the way the movie was produced and the way things ended up. Jorge (Cesar Ramos) the older brother to the 13 year old, Adriana (Paulina Gaita), bought his sister a bike for her birthday. She was kidnapped by a group of international sex traffickers. This part in the movie is very realistic because after reading and talking about it in class people do just get taken off the streets everyday. While this is going on a polish woman named Veronika (Alicja Bachleda-Curu) is coming to Mexico City promised a job as a model. Also, this goes along with being very realistic because men and women go to Mexico and to the US promised with work to send money back to their families. After taken both girls meet and quickly become friends and look after each other. When Jorge finds out about his sister being kidnapped he starts out to find her. He tracks down the truck the girls are on and follows them to a building. Now this part of the movie is a little ironic because Jorge just happened to be in the right place at the right time in the big city of Mexico City. At the building he meets a Texas investigator named Ray Sheridan ( Kevin Kline) who is looking for his missing daughter. Jorge hides himself in Ray's car to get a ride to the USA to follow his sister. That part of the movie was a little unexpected but is also very realistic because men and women get taken over the border illegally every day. Ray eventually finds Jorge in the trunk they get into it a little about taking Jorge back to Mexico City. Ray is convinced to help Jorge get to New Jersey to find his little sister. Which is also a little ironic because Ray just happens to be looking for his daughter. In conclusion I think that this is a very powerful movie. It takes a lot of courage to share a story like this with the world.

Trade Isn't the Way to Get PaidTrade is Written by: Jose Rivera Trade was a movie with a lot of emotion throughout the movie. It wasn't really a movie for entertainment but for a powerful message for people who didn't know how bad human trafficking really was. The kidnappers take kids and make them into sex slaves. Most of these kids aren't even fifteen years of age yet.Trade included the characters of the cop Ray (Kevin Kline), Jorge (Cesar Ramos) who is the teenage Hispanic boy, and the thirteen year old girl who was the one trafficked (Paulina Gaitan), who are the main characters of the movie. The movie starts out in Mexico City where the young thirteen year old lives with her mother and brother Jorge. Not only is there a message for sex trafficking but, it just goes to show that children need to listen to their parents because a mother or a father knows what's best for their children. In this case the young girl gets a bike from her brother, Jorge, for her birthday and her mother says not to ride it, but she still goes out without her mother knowing and gets kidnapped. Many people know nothing about human trafficking. While it is the third largest crime behind drugs, and illegal gun trades, around 100,000 U.S. citizens are trafficked each year. As I watched the movie I started to understand how serious and bad human trafficking is to the ones trafficked and their loved ones. It's such an emotional movie. From funny at some points to, devastating other times in the movie. I believe it is a great movie for anyone over the age sixteen to watch. People who watch learn so much more about how things really and truly are for these kids and adults who are trafficked by all these old perverts for money. So, yes people interested in how things really are in this cruel world, should watch this film because it sends such a powerful message along with it to any viewer.

I watched Trade in my English class while talking about human trafficking. This movie really opened my eyes about the reality of human trafficking and the awful truth of it. Trade is suspenseful, yet you can kind of guess what is going to happen. You really have to watch the movie and pay close attention to what is going on for you to understand most of the movie later on. Anybody that watches this movie should be mature enough to handle the contents of it. However, I do believe that this movie should be very intriguing and eye catching to all viewers. The story-line was very powerful and it had meaning. The movie Trade made me realize all the wrong in the world. This movie was one of the most powerful and moving movies I've ever seen and will probably ever come across. I highly recommend this movie for mature audiences.
