I love when a movie with a genetic plot surprise me with a cool twist but in this case with Diablo screw the plot twist cause there nothing wrong with being a genetic movie as long as it entertaining and don't hurt your brain. At the time Diablo is the first western movie with Scott Eastwood son of the legendary Clint Eastwood so I know alot of people hope this movie will mark the new badass cowboy in town but it turn out that Scott only got some part of his dad face and none of his dad charistma.Every single person Scott met along the road fear him like he is the reincarnation of Satan or something when they got plenty of chance to kill him right from the get-go so when the movie hit it climax with a shoot-out I can only rolling my eyes while watching Scott acting like a maniac that too good for his own good until the movie end

When movies that are very recent are on Hulu I get suspicious of it being a very bad movie. This is another movie that confirms my suspicions. The idea of this movie is good, but the movie was rushed and could have used a better script. The longer you watch the movie the worse the movie will seem. It's as though funding or interest in the movie was running low, so the creators just ended it any way they felt. The camera shots are not too bad, and set designing is your typical idea of a western, but with very few people in the movie. The script for me is what ruined the movie. I suggest not to watch this movie if you're looking for a GOOD movie.Synopsis of the story: The script follows a character named Jackson, his wife is kidnapped and Jackson wants to go and find her. He runs into trouble along the way, and a homicidal man with a black coat and hat keeps appearing and threatening Jackson. Later in the movie you find out the man Jackson saw was actually a hallucination, and that man is another one of his personalities. You find out his wife is not actually his wife, and that she's married to someone. The story then ends abruptly shortly afterwards.

This movie had such promise, with an interesting premise and good actors but somehow the director manage to squander any talent used in this movie. You're thrown into the thick of the action when we see a group of riders burning a house that belongs to a veteran named Jackson (Eastwood) down. We quickly learn that his wife has been kidnapped and he knows roughly where they're going. He meets a sadistic killer (Goggins) along the way, that seemingly is stalking him. And when he meets an old comrade (Glover) from the war this movie really starts to fall apart and any subtle ques goes right out the window. We learn that Jackson committed atrocities during the war, and it's hinted that he suffered a severe psychological breakdown after accidentally shooting his younger brother. And that the sadistic killer that keeps turning up at every turn is in fact Jackson himself, and suddenly the acting do a complete 180 as Jackson turns from hardened veteran looking for his wife into a sneering psychopath who kills everyone that happens to be in his way. Instead of showing subtle changes it's like flicking a switch for the main character and any chance this movie could have had to redeem itself is completely gone. In short, this movie had promise but the execution was as shoddy as it could possible have been. Only see this if you're very bored one day and don't have anything else to watch.

Diablo was flat out pitiful. Horrible plot, terrible acting and mediocre costumes. A total waste of time and money. It's a shame Danny Glover and Adam Beach were in it although they were the only bright spots in the film.A movie nowhere near Eastwood western legend films. If you've come to see that old grit and gristle, you won't find it here. Our lead protagonist starts his chase after the supposed kidnapping of his wife and burning of his farm. He takes you on a painfully slow journey to nowhere other than to find his fight lies simply within himself. While that may seem like a cool plot twist, it fails on an epic level.Western fans move along ... nothing to see here.
