I just watched this movie and thought everything from story, writing, acting and our very stupid faults as human beings were amazing! There is violence happening against a black family that moves into a seemingly "normal" white 1950's community. While this savage violence is occurring, literally right behind their backs is one of the most sinister family distructions I've ever seen! Look, if you have never seen a Cohen Brothers movie, if you haven't seen one of George Clooney's directed movies, if you don't see the dark humour or the Hitchcockian take on this film, then it just isn't for you! Don't come on here just to complain, it's a review. I for one don't think its the most perfect movie ever made, but it certainly does tell two adjacent stories that show what hate can blind you from. Highly recommend!

This movie didn't do it for me, nice look and music but not suspenseful.

Absolutely terrible... I swear I thought this was supposed to be an odd ball comedy of sorts from the ads. Certainly glad I waited to see it for free. Glad this movie won't ruin Matt's career. But holy terrible!!

This movie is so bad that it should get an Oscar for the worst. I watched it for the Coens' writing but now I know they have to direct a movie too if it is an actual Coen brothers movie. I know Clooney is not that bad a director so why would he put it out? He probably thought that with the Coen name it would automatically make money. Seeing Matt Damon in True Grit is an obvious example of how any actor can look bad in a badly written and directed movie. To use the race card in a movie like this is in bad taste especially with the liberal media bashing of our current President. I wonder if the Coens have reached their limit in making good movies?
