I first discovered the iconic "Peter Rabbit" and his family by reading the book when I was a very young boy. So, at first, I was quite intrigued about how it would look turned into a movie. And what a great surprise !I got fascinated since the first second of the movie and loved it so much that I decided it to go watch it a second time. From a philosophic point of view, through the numerous characters, having each a different personality, "Peter Rabbit" movie draws a very interesting parallel with people in the daily life. Whithin the context, it shows how good people act naturally with good intentions while, on the other side, other people act selfishly, in an impulsive and mindless way, thinking only about their own interests, without considering the consequences and the harm they can do to others by the way they act.At this level, "Peter Rabbit" is way much more than just an animation movie for children. It's an awareness that invites everyone to think about its own position and its own behaviour within the society they live in. "Peter Rabbit" has a strong and deep message to deliver. This message is a lesson of life. A lesson of life that will make you feel many emotions, from laughter to sadness and tears. The only weak point is the somehow unnecessarily pushed to far violence of a few scenes - according to the context and targeted audience - which was not necessary and does not actually give more sense to the globally great story. The production work and the image quality are really amazing. Great job ! Congratulations !Go watch it if you haven't yet ;)

Do I have to emphasise that you have to suspend your disbelief? We have animated animals (CG) mixed up with real actors. Now do not go around looking for depth in this. It's a kids movie, you have a setup, you have two groups fighting over Rose Byrne (who can blame them? Exactly) and you have a lesson that can be learned at the end.If you accept that, you can have a lot of fun. The movie is really about the kids and the fun they ought to have. Get along for the ride, don't judge the acting too harshly and enjoy

Sooooo, I really dislike having to give a bad review. I would rather say nothing than say something negative about a piece of art. What can I say about Peter Rabbit? I am confused. Seriously, just confused at all of the glowing reviews calling this a perfect film, calling it funny. The only reason I am writing this review is in the hopes that I reach just one person and save someone an hour or two of their life. I am extremely disappointed in this film. Let's just start with the jokes. They are flat. They are overdone, repetitively. They are beaten into the ground so badly even my ten year old pointed out how repetitious they were. I laughed maybe twice in the entirety of the film. I also think those laughs were at the absurdity of the writing rather than the writing itself. I am utterly disappointed in myself having wasted $1.50 to rent this film. I did my due diligence. I came to my trusted authority on film, IMDB. I saw the decent rating (6.6 at the time I think I recall), middling META score of 51... read these reviews that were so glowing and figured, heck let's give it a shot! I failed my family. I ensured them it would be funny. It was not.My advice: Don't give it a shot. Just my opinion on this piece of art! Oh, and I chose to state this review had spoilers. The spoiler is that it isn't funny. If I would have gone to the Theater, I would have left after maybe making it 30 minutes and asked for my money back. I have only done that one other time in my life. So glad I didn't make the trek to the Theater for this one!

This is too cute and adorable movie. There are times we feel like relaxing and taking some time out of our daily busy life and wanted to watch some fun movie and at such times, these kind of movies comes as a surprise gift. I can't say how much i love every scene in this movie. It has so much hilarious fun moments and there are many i mean many adorable cute moments and moreover it make us to contemplate about the values we have in our life. It teach us values and how small things can be enjoyed and appreciated. Also how to being environment friendly and how being careless reckless human polluting the World not only affects us but affects the buddies (animals and birds) that is sharing the world along with us. Such a eye-opening movie and more than that very funny movie. It is not only for kids but all age groups who wan to spend some leisure time and relax. I seriously wish they make part 2 for this move and i will be the most happiest person in the whole universe if they make one. I wanted to see how the story progress with the cute adorable couple and Peter Rabbit and his three sisters and his cousin rabbit and potential children of those adorable couple. How sweet it would to be to see all of them on-screen again. Eagerly waiting for another part of this movie.
