John Doe: Vigilante (2014)

This was an awesome movie.i think this is one of the best movies made in the last 10 yearswhat did i like in this movie?the actors were super, i felled the anger the worries. the storyline was very interesting. but also the telling of the story really catcht methe movie has a message the way they tell it it was the perfect way to tell itwe watched the movie with the whole family and we all agreed one of the best movies we've seenyou all remember when the matrix came out and people all get wowwwww effect you get it 2 if u watch this movie.pls watch it and write ur own reviewi really recommend this movie pls watch it and rate this movie

This is thriller that will get you thinking.There's a part of me that supports the whole concept of vigilantes given how inadequate our court system can be in Australia. Then there the part that says no matter what, there's no place for vigilantes.Again, this movie will make you think a bit about where things are at and where your morals and ethics are.The acting was fine, not great, but it worked for this movie.The scenes were graphic enough for those looking for that, to be interested.The ending wasn't what I expected, but I won't give it away (I thought it was a good ending, though!!!!)

I randomly came across this movie and after seeing an over 6 rating on here thought i'd give it a go. Well I'm glad I did! It's a unique film centred around a captured vigilante being interviewed while we see what he did through flashbacks. It works perfectly, the acting is top notch, performances on the money and it really does make you think how bad the justice system has become. I'm really impressed with this, picture was crystal clear, sound was perfect too, this wasn't a low budget type sounding like it was filmed in the toilet with amateur performances like you often get with these small releases. The violence is very realistic, hard hitting and brutal in places but it serves the story well. Check it out, nice little twist before the end too.

A really interesting and capturing movie. It takes the vigilante concept and goes deep into the problems, but also the justice, in having a man giving criminals the prober punishment.I will say that this movie is very violent, maybe so violent that it sometimes seem unrealistic. Everyone in the movie is in one way or another a violent person. That is my only critic of the movie, because it is quite interesting. It poses the question of what is the right punishment for a crime committed. Is an eye for an eye mentality right or not. The movie doesn't answer this question but lets the viewer be the judge. It's cool in that way, because it's really the essence of John Doe as he is the judge (and executioner) of his victims.The movie is good and capturing. The acting can be so and so at times, but the Jamie Bamber is really good! It's absolutely worth watching!
