Having watched a lot of Scandinavian drama I was impressed by this under rated piece of gritty film making. I do not agree with some other reviews here that this second part is underwhelming, Although it is set in the world of crime I found myself becoming attached to certain characters and being deeply moved at times by the plot lines and accompanying music. Well worth watching.

'Easy Money' was a gripping, albeit conventional, story of an ordinary man dragged into a life of crime. This sequel, while also quite watchable, seems to have less purpose: we're reintroduced to the various characters we met in the first film, and watch their continuing, violent and disastrous efforts to make it rich by dealing in drugs. It's broadly believable if a little exaggerated in tempo: drug gangs wouldn't actually survive if their individual members generally perished at quite this rate, but unlike the first film, there's never any possibility of redemption or escape. The sentimental ending rings a little false given the disregard for human life shown by all participants.

The good news is that most English speaking haven't read the books, which are extremely good, I've re read them more than five times. And here lies the problem..... Since I've read the books I know the plot, which somehow only pops up here and there in the movie making you sit and ask WTF are they doing that for ? This movie is a follow up on the first book/movie and have almost nothing to do with the second book. This review goes for the first movie as well. Worth watching (goes for both movies) if you haven't read the books, stay away from them if you did (goes for both movies), it will only make you confused and angry.Buy the books instead!

I had really been looking forward this edition, but after 2 minutes into the movie, the director destroyed it all, I went on and continue to watch the movie and had all the time hoped that it would return to the red wire that was trough in the previous movie, But I was disappointed that it never showed up ... When the film premiered here in Sweden, so did all of the newspapers and the media and the people to the sequel was so amazingly good..But I was shocked when I saw the movie, where all these people had their opinions? maybe even one man's opinion influenced separated thousands ...The director who made the movie, I had high hopes in him, but I never thought that he would fail so rough to make a sequel ... He has totally lost the grip from the first movie, which was very realistic ... and he had now dreamed away about how the criminal world looks ..The first scene in the movie is enough ... drug smuggling on a large scale in broad daylight and in a rubber boat on the open water in front of hundreds of people and buildings ..HAHAHA what a joke, you liked the first movie so NOT SEE THIS ... ALL CHARACTERS YOU THOUGHT ABOUT AND LIKED IN THE FIRST MOVIE IS NOW DESTROYED IN THIS SECOND MOVIE ..
